21. The Day isn't Over

Quinn's POV:

We hear the bell ring and we both walk out to the parking lot, we didn't say bye or anything, I still hate him and I don't think much is going to change that. I take out my phone and I call Jenny's number, *Hello Quinn?*, *Hey Jenny um I'm outside already but which one is your car?*, *Oh it's a black Toyota with a baby Yoda sticker on the windshield, I parked close to the entrance*, *Alright I'll see you in a bit* and I hang up, as kids start walking out I look out for her car.

Anna's POV:

I get out of class with Emery and Soph and we walk to where we hang out to wait for everyone else, Quinn wasn't in class again for both math and P.E. and which made it suck again. I hate being apart from her. "Hey guys, what's up? Was she in class?" Jade asks and I shake my head, "Well it's okay the day isn't over yet, we still have our hang out in like two hours." She mentions and that makes me smile, "OH MY GOD I ALMOST FORGOT!" We hear Soph burst out, "What, what is it." Emmi asks and Soph and Emery start getting excited, "Well we found something huge that will change everything" Emery adds on and I feel my phone vibrate, it's Ryan.

"I'm sorry guys but Ryan is picking me up soon so I'm going to leave now." I tell them and I see their faces drop, "But our news it's huge." Emery pleads "I'm sorry you guys can tell me later, plus I'm still hanging out with you guys, but this is Ryan's make up thing for the chasing Quinn away thing." I tell them and they nod lightly, "Well have fun, I'll send you the address." Daisy says and I wave at them walking away, I really hope that Quinn and Ryan fighting isn't true I know that she can beat him easily I don't want her to do that though. I walk to my car seeing her car spot empty, oh right I drove her to school but where is she, did she walk or something.

Emery's POV:

We see Anna walk away and we all look at each other, "So what's the news?" Jade asks and I pull out my phone, "During sixth period, the teacher asked Emery and I to make copies in the office so we went and on our way back we heard Quinn and Ryan talking so we creeped up and I had Emery record the entire thing and here it is." Soph tells them and we start playing it, I look at their faces and all of their jaws are on the floor, I look at Soph and I give her a high five. "So in conclusion Quinn does like Anna, like like her." We hear Jade and we nod at her, "I mean did you not hear that no one just describes a person like that." I tell her, "Are we showing this Anna?" Emmi asks, and I shrug my shoulders, "Um I don't know I guess it depends on how Ryan's and Anna's date goes." Soph adds on, "And Quinn doesn't know about this right?" Daisy asks and we nod, "I think that's the reason why she wasn't in her classes again, she was busy basically saying she loves Anna to Ryan but he's too dumb to realize it" Arya says and we all agree,

Meanwhile:

Jennifer's POV:

Quinn and I walk into the new coffee shop and I hear her take a big breath in, "Ahhh I love the smell of coffee." She lets out and I laugh, "Okay so what do you want to drink?" I ask her as we walk to the line, "Oooh uh I don't know?" She says staring at the menu, "I heard the Americano is good." I tell her pointing at a different side of the menu and she continues staring, "Hello welcome to the Bean Scene what can I get for you two today?" The cashier asks, "Hi can I get a Caramel macchiato with extra caramel, how about you?" I nudge her and she looks at the the girl, "Um I'll just have what she's having." She smiles at me and I smile back, "Okay so two caramel macchiato that will seven dollars and fifty six cents" I hand her the money before Quinn could and we choose to sit by the window while we wait for our drinks, "So what exactly happened you never answer me about the reason why you look like you got beat up." I tell her and she brings her hand to her face, "Uh so it had to do with Ryan but I don't think that's a shocker." She laughs, and I turn her chin to look at it, "It's doesn't look too bad but why?" I ask letting go of the face, "He was threatening to get rid of me in a way that um wasn't right in any means so I tackled him to the ground and yeah the rest is history." she looks up at me, "Good thing I came and busted you out huh." I laugh and she nods smiling, "ORDER FOR JENNIFER!" I hear my name and I get up to grab our coffee.

I bring it back over to our table and I see two people walk in, I look at them a little closer and I realize it's Anna and Ryan, what the hell are they doing here, "This smells really good." Quinn says bringing the cup to her mouth, "Yeah it's good." I say back still looking at Anna and Ryan stand in line.

Anna's POV:

Ryan and I stand in line and I look around the place, definitely is brand new, is that Quinn? AND JENNIFER? what the? Oh so she can go on a date but can't go to class what the heck. "Hey Ryan did you and Quinn really go to get ice?" I ask him and he looks down at me, "Yeah we spent the rest of the day just icing our faces then the nurse told us to leave but it was already the end of the day so we walked out of the school." He says and we go up to the cashier, "What do you want babe?" He asks and I look at the menu, "Um I'll just have the caramel macchiato Iced please." I tell her him and he starts ordering, I walk away choosing a seat across the register so I can still see Quinn and Jennifer, they sure are smiling a lot and laughing a lot, but not loud enough so that everyone hears, "Hey look we got a third drink free." I hear Ryan and I break my attention from them, he sets them down on the table and I grab my drink, "So is this it you're just taking me out?" I ask him taking a sip,

"Well yes but to also apologize for real and have it mean something, it's just I don't want to lose you, I know it may seem like I don't want to be in this anymore, but I realized how much you do mean to me and I can't lose that." He holds my hands across the table and I just nod at what he's says, does he really mean this. He continues talking but I can't keep my attention on him every time I hear Quinn laugh it ticks me off I don't know why but there's no way Jennifer is that funny, she was never funny I was the one making Quinn laugh and now it's her. "So are we good now?" I hear Ryan say again, "Oh yeah yeah we're good." I get out trying to make it seem like I was paying attention. I glance at them again, seeing Jennifer put her hand on Quinn's face "God can someone just run her over already." I look around seeing people stare at me, "Run over who babe?" Ryan looks a little concerned, OH MY GOD I JUST SAID OUT LOUD, "I wasn't meant to say that out loud I'm sorry." I raise my voice a little bit so everyone can hear, I'm never coming back here again.

Quinn's POV:

"Was that meant for me?" Jenny asks taking her hand off of mine, "Uh I don't know" I tell her looking back at Anna, I didn't even know she was here and she's with Ryan which isn't a surprise but she doesn't look happy, actually I don't think she's smiled at all since she got here, "Hey why don't we get out of here it's getting crowded." I hear Jenny say and we both get up, "Yeah just give me a sec." I tell her and I walk over to Anna's table, "Hey Boon!" I say leaning my knuckles on the table, "Hey Quinn." oh she didn't say bubs, "Um are you still going to the hangout later?" She asks and I nod, "Makes sure to get your longboard." I laugh trying to lighten the mood, "Um I don't have one?" She scratches the back of her head, "Oh that's okay I have a ton, you can come over if you want and pick one out?" I tell her and I feel someone's hand on my shoulder, "Come on let's go." I turn around to see Jenny, "Jennifer." I look back at Anna glaring at Jenny, "Anna." I look at Jenny glaring at Anna, "Uh yeah we we're going to go um I'll see you guys later." I wave at Anna but she keeps glaring at Jenny, "Come on come on." I start slowly tugging her away.
