"aiyappa ye manik kha reh gae" nandini murmured worriedly.
"Apna phone bhi nahi leke gae h......ayiappa please manik aur bhai safe ho" she prayed to ayiappa. Suddenly the door bell rang making nandini immediately run towards the door.
She hurriedly opened the door but soon gets startled seeing an injured Cabir totally leaning on manik.
"Aiyappa bhai.....ye kaise hua" she asked in a panicked state as Cabir had a bandage on his forehead.
"Hiii" Cabir said to nandini startling her as he was now grinning while waving his hand in a hi.
"Manik" she whispered.
"Nandini let us come in first" manik said making nandini realise.
"Ohh sorry" she immediately gave them the way. Manik very carefully took him towards one of the guest room with nandini behind them.
"Bhai" Cabir murmured.
"Shh Cabir.....let's get you to bed first." Manik said while lying him down on the bed.
"Nahi mujhe nahi sona h" he whinced while getting up from the bed but stumbled back again.
"Cabir.......bhai" both nandini and manik ran towards him.
"Hehe I m fine.....cool"he smiled sheepishly while showing them a thumbs up. They again made him lay on the bed while nandini started removing cabir's shoes.
"Nandini no" manik said stopping nandini.
"M kar dunga ye, u just get some lime water for Cabir he is highly drunk." Manik said and himself started removing cabir's shoes.
"Bhai.....I m.....I m sorry?" Suddenly Cabir whispered making manik stop in his track.
"U hate me na" he asked while trying to get up.
"Cabir shhh.....bas.....will talk in the morning" manik said in the meantime nandini came with the lime water. Manik carefully made Cabir had it.
"Bolo na bhai....u hate me now" he again asked making nandini look at manik sadly.
"No.....I can never hate you" manik whispered while caressing his forehead.
"Now sleep..." Saying this he closed his eyes making him sleep. Soon Cabir slept and both manik and nandini quietly came out and went in their room.
"App theek ho??" Nandini asked while sitting beside manik who was sitting with his head in his hands.
"Ya....." He whispered.
"Bhai ko kya hua??" She asked softly.
"He was highly drunk and was walking on the road where he met with an accident. Dr uncle saw him on the road and took him home, after that he called me" manik told her all the happenings.
"Ohh....no..." Nandini whispered worriedly.
"Ye sab mere glti h maine kuch jada hi boldiya tha usse" manik whispered dejectedly making nandini sigh.
"Aisa kuch nahi h manik....ap please aisa mat sochiye" nandini said while side hugging manik.
"I won't spare him tomorrow.....idiot kahi ka" manik said angrily making nandini laugh.
"Ok..acha now let's sleep" nandini said.
"Ohh god how can I forget....." Manik murmured.
"Kya hua" nandini frowned.
"Tomorrow their is a business party and I have to go there. It's important....chalogi na mere sath." He asked.
"M.....m phle kabhi nahi gae aise parties m" nandini said mking mnik turn towards her.
