"Ap thk hoo..." She started saying but I interrupted " ohh really, can't you see and walk, are u in a playground that u were running here n there"...
It was around 6:30 am and nandini was all ready waiting for manik as they had to catch a 8:30am flight for Delhi.
Right now she was busy playing with her breakfast.
"Nandu" maa called.
"Ji ma" nandini said.
"Meeting keliye kon kon jaraha h delhi" she asked gaining nandini's attention.
"Ummm manik sir aur m" she said nervously.
"Bas tum dono. Tujhe hi kyo jana h saath" maa confirmed again with worried expressions.
"Ji maa vo.....ummm m.....m assistant hu na unki isi...isiliye." she stammered.
"Nandu dekh beta m jante hu tu Manik ko pasand karte h. Aur jaise uski dadi baat kar rahi thi mujhe lagta h manik bhi karta h." Maa said making nandini guilty.
"Par beta mrs malhotra ki baate yaad hana tujhe. Vo kaise aurat h aur vo manik ki maa h. M ye nahi kehri hu ki manik unke jaisa h par vo apni maa ki against toh nahi jaega na. Aur uski maa ki baato se saf pta chalta h ki unhi tu pasand nahi h. Aur m nahi chate us jaise aurat se tera koi relation ho. Us jaise greedy aur batameez aurat maine ajj tak dekhi. Unki baate ajj tak mere kanno m gunj rahi h. Kitni gandi soch h uski. Isiliye beta m tujhse request karre hu ki please tu manik ko iss bare m mat batana. M jante hu ye tere liye bahut difficult hoga par please beta m tujhe aise logo ke asse pass bhi nahi dekhna chate. Please beta manik ko uski mom ke bare m mat btana m nahi chate tera dil toote." Maa said with tear filled eyes.
"Maa" she hugged maa tightly with emotions all over.
"Promise me bacha." Maa asked.
"Promise maa m unhe unki mom ne jo kiya vo nahi btaunge" nandini promised maa with a heavy heart.
Both maa and nandini kept hugging each other feeling emotional about the whole situation, when nandini's phone beeped showing a message. The message was from manik who was waiting outside in his car.
Nandini hurriedly gathered all the required files and her bag and quickly prayed to ayiappa and left after hugging maa.
