"Honey, I'm home!" Andrew called, but flinched as he only got a hissing noise in reply.
When he looked into the living room, he was confused. Zaide was lying on the couch with his head on Molly's lap. Andrew wondered what Zaide was doing there.
"Quiet. He just went to sleep a few minutes ago." Molly whispered, trying not to move at all.
Andrew looked at their son, who was sitting on the chair looking up at him, for explanation. "His parents threw him out for-"
"... for?"
"Being gay." Molly finished and Andrew's face turned red.
"How could they? That's absurd." Molly only shrugged.
"How do you know?" Thomas asked as he knew his mum and he had not discussed the cause themselves. "Did Zara call you too?"
The only answer he got was, "We're your parents," Molly smiled before adding, "And I might have seen you two kissing at the front of our house."
