After what felt like hours had passed, Thomas spoke again, "Tell me what happened?"
His thought went straight to Seven.
You. Zaide wanted to scream at Thomas. You're the only reason for this stupid pain.
Although, he kept quiet. He had already said it was nothing, he did not know what else Thomas wanted.
Zaide took a step back as the older boy took a step toward him. He just wanted to be left alone to be drown in his own agony.
"Go to your home now, please." Zaide said with harshness and it broke Thomas' heart a little more.
"Zaide, talk-" Thomas stopped as Zaide walked to the window and gestured for him to get out of there. He sighed. "Fine, we'll talk tomorrow at school, then."
The behaviour shocked Thomas, but he did as he was told and left Zaide alone.
