Since Zaide entered the cafeteria, he could feel eyes on him.
First, he thought it was Thomas which was partly true. But, when Thomas was sitting next to him, talking to him, he still felt eyes on him.
As soon as he turned his head to his right, his eyes met with Seven's. He remembered how the older boy had helped him without forcing him to say anything or even saying a word.
Might be, Seven really was not so bad and just misunderstood. Seven left and Zaide excused himself to go find him.
He did not need to go far as Seven was leaning against the wall just outside the cafeteria.
"Hey." Zaide said, voice already dried up. "I just wanted to thank you for that day, for taking me home."
Seven scoffed at Zaide's face before walking away.
