Thomas felt he was being shaken. For a moment, he was surprised.
It always had been his alarm that woke him up, not anyone shaking him, but blaring a blasting "crink crink" sound.
He whined before opening his eyes when a small, sweet voice called for him. "Thomas."
Zaide's voice. He was sure he was dreaming about Zaide again.
Thomas opened his eyes before he startled himself with the closeness between his and Zaide's face.
"What the... ?" He backed up before remembering everything from last night and calmed down.
Zaide chuckled before speaking in his cute voice. "We should get back before everyone's up."
Thomas could only nod before getting up and heading to their houses.
