Dan was being a perfect gentleman as Gia had told him to. He had opened the car door for Rome, tried to give the best evening and had dessert with ice cream, even if he wanted nothing but hold and kiss Rome.
At the end of the day, he walked Rome to the front door of his house.
"Sorry, it was not a proper date with restaurant and stuff, just a rushed picnic type." Dan felt sad that he had to bid Rome goodbye.
"Are you kidding me?" He was shocked by Dan's words. "It was one of the best days of my life. You know why? Because, it's the first ever real date for me and I'm always gonna remember this one."
Dan smiled, his heart swelling. "I'm gonna take you to a real one, not in the park, with your parents' permission."
"It's a real date to me." Rome leaned up and kissed Dan to make him realize how much he had enjoyed it.
