"What ran over you?" Rome's voice startled Zaide out of his daydream. "You look like shit."
"I feel like shit." Was Zaide's answer.
"Seven?" Rome angrily hissed.
Zaide shook his head. "No, just could not sleep properly last night."
"Wanking off thinking about Thomas?"
Zaide turned pink. His body felt like it was on fire.
First, because, they were in a classroom.
Second, he knew Zara liked him. How could he do that to his sister?
Third, Rome was only teasing him and Zaide knew that, but still they were in school.
Fourth and the most important of them all, he was sure Thomas only saw him as a brother, a boy who was always in trouble and needed to be saved by him as he had been saving Zaide from Seven and his gang.
Zaide felt guilty and helpless and weak and embarrassed all at the same time.
