Zara sighed quietly. The hope that was flickering in her, suddenly went out.
She was friend-zoned by the love of her life. Well, love of her life was too much, crush was more like it.
She grumbled. Jesse's ideas never seemed to work. She had told her that if Zara offered to be Thomas' friend and forget everything, he would know what he had been missing. Boys hated being friend-zoned, but at the end, she was the one who was in that freaking zone.
If things went by that rate, it was not far in the future when she would be thirty and alone, eating junk food and whining to her friends who would not give two shits about her.
