Rome blushed as he saw Dan walking with his friends in the hallway on Monday. That sudden change did not go unnoticed by Zaide.
Why his best friend was blushing as soon as Thomas and his gang entered, was a million dollar question.
Zaide elbowed Rome and startling, the boy slammed his locker shut.
"What's your problem?" Rome almost shouted at his friend.
"That's my question." The boy's ears got redder.
Rome murmured a nothing when Alisha flunked her hands around his shoulders.
"Oh! Please." She pffted. "Just spill. What happened between you two?"
Rome ducked his head, blushing hard and twisting his hands. Zaide felt bad for the boy. He would tell when he would be comfortable enough to, but Zaide himself was very curious as to what possibly had happened that left his best friend blushing.
"Dan kissed me."
"What?!" Zaide and Alisha shouted at the same time.
