After the small date, Dan and Rome went for ice cream. The truck was parked just outside the park.
"You've told your cousin about me?" Rome asked while licking his quickly melting ice cream.
Dan was looking at him, forgetting his own one in his hand.
"Huh? Oh, yeah. I asked for ideas when I was thinking about how to plan for this."
"She's really intelligent. Thank her on my behalf." Rome said happily.
"I'll. She had a lot of ideas for us, to be honest." He chuckled remembering the conversation with the bundle of trouble.
"Really, for another date?"
"No, what comes after date." Dan laughed as Rome choked on the air.
"What?!"
"I thought the same, but no, she was talking about how I should get you home, be a gentleman and not try to do anything unless you want to."
Rome smiled. He was already loving that kid without even seeing her.
