Dan was angry.
He was here to help the stubborn kid and in trouble with the coach for him and, now, he was telling Dan to take the call inside the library.
Rome really was so dumb.
"Let's go." Dan told him again, but the younger one did not move.
"I need to-" Rome started, but Dan cut him off.
"Yeah, yeah, I know."
Without wasting another second Dan went around the desk and searched for the Post-it notes.
"What are you doing?" Rome hissed.
"Give me your books." Dan demanded.
This boy has gone mad. Rome thought. "I'm gonna be in so much trouble if Mrs. O'Neal comes to know, and all because of you, Dan."
Rome cursed the beginning of the day.
