042- "The Ultimate Battle: Cha!"

Sakura and Ino's battle rages on.

"It's seems like they've finally decided to take things serious!" Y/n grinned mischievously.

"Seems like your loving the fight more then us," Kakashi joked.

Y/n chuckled, "Truth is...I was hoping I would get to fight Sakura."

"Huh?! What why would you want to do that!?" Naruto appalled.

"It's silly, but I already know I would win. Regardless it wouldn't be a fair fight, so I'm glad it's Ino," Y/n smiled.

"Your pretty cocky," Naruto smiled.

"I guess I get it from someone," she teased.

Sakura started the match with shadow clones, moving fast and repelling from her feet in such motion caught ino off guard, easily landing a attack sending Ino flying across the floor.

"If you think I'm the crybaby Sakura I was until recently, you'll get your fingers burned! Come at me like you mean it, Ino!"

Ino wiping her lip, nearly laughing before getting up.

"I appreciate you saying that...I'll go like I mean it, as you wish!"

"Hmm, She's utilizing her chakra throughout her body, this technique she's doing by saving it for the right timing...That alone is better than Sasuke." Kakashi notice the look on Y/n face.

"What do you think, Y/n?"

"Huh? Oh well...your not wrong, from the start she was extremely good controlling her chakra so.." She trailed off looking back down at the fight.

"Wait so that means she's better then me?" Naruto questioned.

"Well...to sum extent yes," Kakashi answered.

"Awww!" He groaned.

Rushing towards each other, they both catch each other's fist, struggling back and forth to have the upper hand while pushing each other away.

Sakura then throws a shuriken, but again Ino blocked it with her own.

"Sakura's doing magnificent, but Ino is good too." Lee was happily worried about how the fight will go down.

With both nearly out of chakra, Ino tries a desperate move: her Mind Body Switch Technique. She succeeds and takes control over Sakura's body.

Oh no she's choking out there.
"What is she gonna do," Y/n whispered.

She felt someone place there hand on my shoulder.

"Don't worry she'll be fine, she just needs a little push," Naruto smiled at her.

Y/n couldn't help but feel that bit of reassurance, making her blush a little.

"Uh...Your right," she smiled.

"Go Sakura you can do it!," Naruto shouts.

"Stop that," Hayate shouts up.

"Go Sakura you got this!," Y/n balled her fist to her chest, and shouted.

"You brats! What did I say!" Hayate growled.

As Ino prepares to force Sakura to forfeit, Naruto and Y/n cheers Sakura on and inadvertently awakens Inner Sakura, who forces Ino out of her body. Both drained of their chakra, the rivals knock each other out in one climactic punch, resulting in a double knockout.

"Both parties are unable to to continue the match. Leaving neither candidate advances to the final stage," Hayate announces.

Everyone was shocked and surprised.

Kakashi and Asuma retrieved both girls placing them both next to each other on the wall.

Naruto, Lee, Shikamaru and Choji rushed towards them surrounding them in worry.

"A-A-Are you okay?!" They asked.

"Quiet," Kakashi shushed.

"Treatment isn't necessary cause they'll both wake up after awhile," Asuma lightly laughed. "But, that was surprising..."

"Yeah, Kakashi nodded. Y/n, Naruto and Sasuke aside...to think Sakura, who didn't have what to took, has grown this much...it's quite surprising."

Sakura awoken to everyone watching a new match, TenTen and Temari. She couldn't help but feel bad.

"Our match is already over? Did I...lose?" Tears shimmered in her eyes.

"I'm the one who wants to cry..." Ino eyes narrowed. "To think I tied with someone like you..." she poker-faced.

"Huh?" Sakura eyes lit up.

"Here!" Ino pulled out her headband. "You also got a flower to bloom didn't you? A beautiful flower!" Ino's plastered a smile on her face.

"Ino..." Sakura jaw tightened, her eyes welled up.

A smiled hardened on Ino's face but it was genuine.

She smiled and took the headband from her, tying it back around her hair like it once was.

"However...next time we fight it won't end with us getting knocked out!" Her expression hardened.

"Hm.." Sakura glowered.

"And...I won't hand over Sasuke to you!" She scrunched up her face.

"I return the same line to you!" She balled her fist in her face.
