I walk through the ship, towards the bridge.

"Fin, go to sleep. I'll take watch." I tell the Betraskan, and with a silent nod, he walks away towards his room.

I sit down on the pilots chair, swinging my feet.

' Tyler?' A voice says.

'I'm here. Always.'

'Can you talk to me? Distract me?'

'Saedii? What happened? Are you okay?'

I get a flash of purple blood bleeding though bandages, and blinding, white hot pain.

'Saedii? What the hell happened to you?'

'My...Father. He turned on me, Tyler.'

'Oh, Saedii. I'm so sorry.'

'I don't have time for your sorries, Tyler. Just distract me.'

Her voice is desperate, pleading.
'Please, Tyler.'

'Okay. Um.'

I flick through memories, trying to find something good for her.

'You can speak of your father, Tyler.'

'Can you call me Ty?'

'Ty...'

'Yuh-huh. So, we're all at this bar. Like, me and your brother and the rest of us.'
'And we're all out dancing, having a good time, and then I hear you in my head for the first time in two weeks.'
'And apparently my face goes super red or whatever because the next thing I know Scars asking if I'm alright.'
'So I run off. And she yell at me "Ty, what the fuck are you doing?"
'And I panic, right? So I just shout "drugs!" And run off.'

'Oh, Ty....'

'Yeah, super sus, right?'

I can feel her mood lift.

'Oh!' I remember something else.
'So im walking to the bridge, right? Like, going for my shift.'
'And I see Fin and Scar making out.'
'And I swear to god I almost kill him because "That's my sister!"'

'What is...making out?'

I get a rush of confidence.
'Kissing. Maybe we could try it sometime.'

I get a spike of embarrassment from her.
'Nope. Goodbye.'
