The Unbroken Templar's POV

I pace the metal-barred room, watching Tyler Jones from the corner of my eye, a dark rage threatening to consume me.

Why are you so angry? Tyler asks, through the foul mental bond that we share.
Can't you just, like, calm down?

I feel the rage in me simmering.
'Oh, Tyler, I buried the unseemly urges, deep down in the ground with the roots.'
'But its all coming up to the surface, it was ready to bloom.'
'And I didn't want to be a monster in the making, I didn't want to be more bitter than sweet.'
'Boy if you were me, could you really blame me? Getting angry?'

I look at him, my fists clenching.
I can hear my fathers voice in my head now, cold and merciless.
I am transported to a lost world of Lias trees and blood and memories.
'Does it get your blood boiling?'
'Does it make you see red?'
'Do you wanna destroy it?'
'Does it get in your head?'

And now I reply to him, the cold, cruel memory of the person that I called my father.
'Because it gets my blood boiling.'

I turn to Tyler, who in my rage-induced hallucinations is sitting under the shade of a Lias tree.
'And I'm coming unglued."
'It would eat you like poison, Tyler, if you knew what I knew, you would be angry too.'

He looks at me, his blue eyes glittering a thousand shades.
'You don't have to drink the venom that they made you.'
'You don't have to be controlled by the past.'

The rage rears it's ugly head, but I visualise my mother.
My mother, whom I killed.
'Calm down, Saedii.'
'Why are you so mad? Why has your heart gone rotten?'
'It's all good, Saedii, why are you upset?'

I face her, and look at the bruise under her eye.
'Guess they have forgotten what they did.'

And I strike her, and collapse onto the metal floor, brought abruptly back to reality.
"Now you see, Tyler Jones. Now you see. This is all I was made to be."
"A creature of rage and violence and blood and war."

Idk I just kinda have this vision of Saedii falling into rage and insanity and just...yeah.
