Anyway, onto the story.
AU where when your born, your given a simple tattoo on your body. But when you get an achievement (first steps, first words,  first kiss ect-), the tattoo becomes more complex, and grows.

Aurora.
Started with a circle on the small of her back. It's space themed (duh) and hers is the most complex and the biggest of the squads. It reaches up to the top of her neck, and down to her waist band thing.

"Why can't we see your tattoo?" Cat asks.

"I... I don't want to show you all."

"Why not?"

I sigh. I'm not gonna win this argument.
"Fine. I'll show you."

I turn around and take off my shirt, and they gasp.

"Wow..." Cat breathes.
"Can I- can I touch it?"

"Um, go for it I guess."

I pull my arms around my chest, and shiver as fingertips are traced down my back.

"Where's the center?" She asks.

"Should be the circle at the small door my back."

"There's a planet, but no circle."

I sigh. "Great. Another tattoo."

"What would it be for?" She asks.

"Don't know. Surviving Cryo? My powers?"

She sighs.
"Who knows."

Scarlett Isobel Jones
Hers started out as a small flower over her heart. Now, it's become a maze of flowers and thorns around her collarbone.

"What's that one for?" Fin asks.

"Fin, I don't have all of them memorised."

"But what is it?"

I sigh.
"You sure you wanna know?"

He nods, and I lean in, whispering in his ear.
"You'll never find out."

"SCAR!"

I laugh, and he dissolves into laugher as well.

Cat Brannock
Uses her other tatts to cover up the achievement ones.

"But...why, Cat?"

"Because I hate it. That's why, Ty."

Zila Madran
Has a ring of gold squares around her waist. She has never shown a soul them.

"I'm...im a defect."

"No, your not."

"But, I am." She looks up at me, her dark eyes swimming with tears.

"No. You are a gorgeous, brave, incredible girl. You are not a defect, you hear me? You are not."

"But-"

"No. And that's final."
