~ Part 20 ~ Truth or Dare ~

Start from the beginning

And honestly, I happened to think James was more attractive.

After processing my thoughts, I glared at myself for thinking such a thing. Sure, there was no denying that James Potter was, well, attractive, but in no way possible was I ever going to admit such a thing again.

I looked around for a James to describe, then remembered I was lounging in his lap. Well, I remember his appearance anyways.

James had messy hair, such a dark brown I could never tell whether it was actually brown, or black. And by messy, I mean messy. Each and every strand stuck out in a different direction. He was always running a hand through his hair, and I don't know what the goal was-to make it messier or tidier-but either way his hair got even less neat than it already was from this action. His eyes were a beautiful hazel, with streaks of dark green and gold. He was, like I said, unbelievably tall. Over 6 feet. Probably way over 6 feet. And usually, a tall person was skinny, and lanky, but noooope. He was very strong, like Sirius. His arms were really muscly, and just... strong looking. And just by leaning on his front, I could feel his toned stomach and chest.

Okay, maybe I'll let myself admit he's attractive just one more time.

I was brought back to reality from Peter answering Marlene with a "Yes."

"Alrighty," Marlene said, rubbing her hands together. "Remus, truth or dare?"

Remus, being very smart-never trust Marlene with a dare-said, "Truth."

"Ahhhh... lovely. Remus, would you be so kind as to... enlighten us with who you fancy?" Marlene asks. I smirk.

My suspicions were correct as he scowled, blushed, looked down, and muttered something just barely intelligible. "Mary."

Mary blushed a bit too as he said this, and her face turned into an almost unnoticeable smile.

No one gave either of them grief because they didn't want to ruin the moment.

"Sirius, truth or dare?" Remus asks hurriedly.

"Dare, duh," Sirius answers.

"Go flirt with the girls in the same compartment of the boys Marlene flirted with," Remus says, shooing away Sirius. I wonder what Remus is doing...

Remus doesn't even pay attention to Sirius as he walks out and flirts (getting the same reaction from those girls that the boys had given Marlene). But instead Remus stares intently at Marlene.

I realize that Remus was trying to figure out whether they liked each other; so Remus had noticed Sirius's stiffen during Marlene's flirting too. Marlene's eyes hardened as Sirius talked to the girls.

Sirius sauntered back in, and, as always, not wasting any time, asked me, "Lilyflower? You know the rules."

And I, obviously not a coward, said, "Dare." Sirius grinned at me, and I began to regret my decision.

"No worries, Lils. All you have to do is, on the day of my choosing, wear whatever I ask you to. Whatever. I can go through your closet, or pull something from mine. Any day, any outfit," Sirius says. I raise an eyebrow at him questioningly. He shrugs.

"Ok...? Doesn't seem like a very... Sirius dare but alright." I say. I smile mischievously at Mary. "Mar-truth or dare?"

And Mary was not one to choose dare, because she was shy, and most likely wanted to avoid having to flirt with anyone. So "Truth." it was.

"Who do you like?" I ask, but we all knew the answer.

She mumbles "R-remus." And gets the same reaction from Remus that she had gave him. We all smile knowingly, all thinking, just get together! I hope that later, they will meet up to talk about this.

Mary, recovering, hastily takes the attention off herself, asking, "James, looks like you're last. Which one?" Mary had a mock innocent look on her face, making everyone shiver.

"Truth. I'm not taking any chances with you," James answers, narrowing his eyes.

"What? You're James! You were supposed to choose dare!" Mary exclaims. "Ugh... I guess then... who was your first kiss?"
