And yes, you heard right. Me nor James has told anyone of our kiss. I hadn't, because well, if people heard about it, the rumors of me and him would become even worse. And he hadn't because I had threatened him very affectively. Hexes can be quite persuasive in that way.
"I'm not jealous!" I snap.
"Are too. Whoever this mystery girl is, you totally want to be in her shoes," Sirius replied.
"I know exactly who it was, and shut up," I say angrily. The nerve of that boy. "Peter, go."
"Uhm... ok... Marlene," Peter squeaked. "Tru-"
"Dare." Marlene answered before he even asked the question.
"Ok... go... go and..." Peter began. His dares were never very good. "Go flirt with the boys in the compartment across from us." He finished proudly. Sirius, I noticed, stiffened just a tad. Interesting...
"Right-O, Pete," Marlene answered with a smirk. This might have been a decent dare with someone more shy, like Mary, but it just wasn't that good for Marlene. Marlene, the master of flirting.
She sauntered over through the compartment door, and into those boys' compartment, swaying her hips seductively all the while. She said a few things, and a couple boys blushed, and couple eyed her hungrily. I glanced over at Sirius and noticed his jaw clenched as he stared at Marlene.
Marlene walked back out, again shaking those hips.
"Was that okay?" Marlene asked us as she walked back into the compartment, smirking at the affect she had on some people.
Marlene, the girl with wavy, white-blonde hair and a perfect body.
I scanned my eyes over the crowd, taking in everyone else's appearance.
Mary, with long, dark, black hair down to her waist that complimented her hazel skin nicely. She was pretty short, shorter than me, even.
Alice, with deep, dark, beautiful brown hair that she had just last year got cut very short, pixie-cut style. In a way, you could say it looked almost like James's head of hair. She was an average height, pretty fit, too.
Frank, who had reddish-brown hair, funnily enough the same length as Alice's. He was also around the same height as Alice (told you they were perfect for each other). He looked decently strong, and fit-no, you idiots I'm not attracted, I'm just observing.
Peter, with his light brown, blond-ish hair, and chubby, short body-build. Like, even shorter than Mary. Really short.
Remus, almost the same light brown hair as Peter, just a tad darker. He was an average height, too. He was pretty skinny. Not skinny enough for it to be noticeable, or unattractive, but still skinnier than most seventh years.
Sirius, who had a black, shaggy head of hair that he cared so much about. And, like how Alice's hair was short, Sirius's was quite long, or as he liked to say, luscious. He was a bit taller than Remus, probably somewhere around 6 feet, and much more muscly. He was most likely strong due to the fact that he was a beater on the quidditch team, and had to swing around that bat all the time. But, however 'attractive' most girls found him, Sirius had no affect on me. Thinking about him like that was like thinking about a brother like that, and sort of made me want to barf.
