Brett had to go get Elise by himself, as Eddy was kind of uncomfortable walking afterwards. He didn't mind at all, feeling almost like he was walking on clouds himself after the whole thing, and after picking up Elise he went and picked up the takeaway he had ordered before leaving.

Eddy tried to clean up after them before going for the second shower of the day, and he managed to get the bed sheets thrown in the washer despite how sore he was.

Eddy had just gotten out of the shower and put some clothes on when Brett came home holding Elise on his arm. Brett couldn't help but grin as he entered the living room just as Eddy very slowly sat down on the couch, but immediately just moving to sit on his knees.

"You alright there, love?" Brett chuckled, handing him Elise and setting the bag of takeaway down on the coffee table. "I'll just go get some forks."

Eddy stuck his tongue out at him before turning his attention to his little girl, kissing his forehead.
"How was the visit at gran's, huh?" he asked her, pushing some of her hair to the side. He thought that it kind of looked like she had more hair than babies normally do. "Awesome, you say?"

Brett couldn't help but smile as he came back, giving Eddy a quick kiss on the forehead before sitting down next to him.
"Do you want the lasagna or the spaghetti?" Brett asked, opening one of the boxes to check what was inside. Eddy looked over at the boxes while thinking about it.

"Hmmm lasagna sounds good, actually," Eddy said, and Brett pushed the box he had opened over to him and grabbing the other instead.

"Thank god, the spaghetti looked delicious," Brett said with a smile as he stuck his fork into one of the meatballs in the spaghetti box. "I think we should figure out how far it is to the nearest Chinese food, though. We haven't had any in ages."

"Agreed, my stomach isn't made for this," Eddy chuckled, grabbing a bite from his lasagna with one hand. It was kinda awkward.

"Want me to get the play mat ao she can tire herself out while we eat?" Brett suggested, already getting up before Eddy could reply. He nodded anyway and put his fork down.

"See, baba's gonna get your play mat so daddy doesn't spill lasagna on your face, sweetie," he joked to Elise, hearing Brett laugh on the way down the stairs to their studio where the play mat still was. "That would be so bad."

Brett was still chuckling to himself as he set up the play mat on the floor and took Elise from Eddy so she could play.

"Like that, now you're safe from lasagna attacks, baby," Brett grinned, kissing her forehead before going back to the couch to sit with Eddy. They watched her try and look around and uncoordinatedly trying to get a hold of stuff around her for a bit before resuming their dinner.

"Imagine when she's crawling around," Eddy mumbled, taking s bite of his lasagna. "We'll be so busy."
