"Run" Steve jumped in the bus and Dustin closed the door holding it shut
"Are they rabid or something"
"They can't get in, they can't!" They all screamed as the monsters growled. A hand slipped in and Steve hit it with a bat
"Is anyone there?mike?will? god! anyone!"
"Shit"
"We're at the old junk yard and we're going to die!"
Stephenie and Max were standing near the ladder and after Stephenie heard noise coming from the top. She looked up and saw the monster. Both girls immediately screamed and Steve came running over.
"Out of the way! out of the way! You want some, come get this!" The monster growled, but didn't attack. It lifted its head and growled, and jumped off the bus
They slowly got out of the bus
"Jeez"
"What happened"
"I don't know"
"Steve scared them off"
"No, no way. There going somewhere" Steve said with Stephanie wrapped in his arms
"your sure that was dart?" Lucas asked
"Yes, he had the exact yellow pattern on his butt"
"He was tiny two days ago"
"Yeah he's molted 3 times already"
"You mean malted"
"Molted, sheds his skin to make room for growth like horn worms"
"When's he going to molt again?"
"Gotta be soon"
"When he does he'll be full grown, or close to it"
"And so will his friends" Stephenie added
"Yeah and he's gonna eat a lot more than just cats"
"Wait, a cat" Lucas questioned "Dart ate a cat?"
"No, what? no."
"What talking about he ate mews" Steve said
"Mews? who's mews?"
"Dustin's cat" Stephenie replied
"Stephenie!" Dustin yelled angrily
"I knew it, you kept him" Lucas said
"No! No I-I didn't... he missed me and he wanted to come home"
"Your house isn't darts home the upside down is!"
"Bullshit"
"I didn't know he was a demagorgan okay"
"Oh so now you admit it"
