The bell rang and they all rushed out

"We have to show him to mr Clarke"

"No what if he steals my discovery"

"He's not going to steal your 'discovery' Dustin come on"

"You know I'm thinking of calling it, dustonius pollywogus" "what do you think" Dustin asked Max

Stephenie looked behind and saw Will, so she let the others walk and went to talk to him
"Will, are you ok" Stephenie asked putting a hand on wills shoulder, he jumped like she just randomly appeared

"Ya I'm fine" Will said and they kept walking

As the last bell rang Mike and Stephenie went to Will So they could show mr Clarke
"Hey, lets go show Mr Clarke"

"Will what's wrong" Stephenie asked worried, he had been on edge all day

"It's about D'artangnan"

"Stop! I'm sorry mr Clarke it was just a stupid prank" Stephanie yelled, running into the room
"What are you doing?" Dustin asked
"We told him to stop we need to go. right now, right now!" Mike yelled

They all ran into the AV room locking Max out. Max knocked at the door angrily
"Come on guys can I come in yet"
"No!" Mike yelled, Stephanie shot him a 'are u Serious?' Look, he shook head head at her
"I don't understand"

"What do you not understand?" Stephenie said annoyed, how could he be so attached that slimy thing?

"Will saw something that looked like d'Art last year?"

"Kind of but there was no tail"

"But then he heard it yesterday, the exact same sound"

"Why didn't you tell us before?"
"I wasn't sure" Stephenie felt sorry for Will, he had to deal with it everyday. The pain. She lightly grabbed wills hand, giving him a bit of comfort.

"—Or not, what if Will when was stuck in the upside down, he somehow acquired true sight"

"It gives you the power to see into the ethereal plane"

"Maybe the episodes will keeps having aren't really flashbacks at all"

"Maybe there real" Stephenie said
"So, Will can actually see into the upside down"

"Dart is from the upside down"
"We have to take him to hopper"

"No, if we take him to hopper he's as good as dead"
"Maybe He should be dead" Stephanie said crossing her arms, saying it louder than she had planned
Dustin looked at Stephenie "how could you even say that?"

"He's from the upside down!" Stephanie said
"That maybe be true, but that doesn't automatically mean he's bad"

"That's like saying just because someone's from the Death Star, doesn't mean there bad" Stephenie said. Everyone gave her another confused look
"Ya I read more, I have to somehow understand what you guys are saying"
"We have a bond"

"A bond? Just because he likes nougat?" Mike asked
"No, because he trusts me"
"He Trusts you?" Mike said
"Seriously"

"Yes, I promised I would take care of him"
"You don't know what your doing Dustin!" Stephenie said before Dart screeched
The box started shaking and then max knocked at the door

"Come on guys, what's going on"
"Don't hurt him" Dustin said as mike grabed microphone

"Only if he attack's"
Dustin opened the trap and dart came out, this time he was bigger
"Holy shit"

And he grew legs. Mike went to attack but dustin pushed him over and dart fell off the table
Just when Stephenie almost caught him falling to the ground with a wince, the door flung open revealing max who looked down at dart and watched him escape

"Oh shit" they all said, Stephanie getting up and running towards him the other fighting instead of trying to find him

Stephenie was running all over the school going through all the halls and rooms with her walkie in her hand that wasn't broken.

"any sign of him? Over" She asked
"No" Mike said "you? Over"
"Still nothing. Please remind me why I'm friends with you guys? Over" She said sarcastically
"oh please, you love hanging out with us, over" mike said

"whatever let's you sleep, over and out" Stephanie said turning her walkie off

She turned the corner of the gym and saw a familiar figure.
"El?" She said walking towards the girl

"Steph" they both ran to each other, hugging tightly "what are you doing here? Where were you all this time—I thought you died!"

"with Hopper, in cabin. not supposed to be here. came to see you and Mike" Stephenie smiled at El, she had grown long curly hair and a couple inches. El looked down at Stephenies hand.

"What happened?"she asked

"Oh I just fell of a skateboard, I'm fine"

"Where's Mike?"
"I think he was in the gym" Stephenie said walking to the doors seeing Mike with Max. El frowned.

"That's Max. Mike doesn't like her but Dustin and Lucas do" Stephenie told her before El flipped Max off her skateboard and they both hid behind the door.

"I have to go. Bye Steph" El said

"Bye El" Stephenie said sadly, when would she see her again?
