Sally was a weird child. She didn't have many friends, and sometimes would get picked on, but that wouldn't stop her from being herself.

So when she sang "Maybe Baby" by Buddy Holly out loud, while skipping to the marketplace, you bet she got the looks of disappointed seniors.

"DA-DA-TA-DA-DA-DA-DA-DA-DA DA-DA-TA-DA-DA-DA DA-DA-DA-DA-DA-TA-DA-DA-DA DA-DA-DA-AHH-AHH-AHH WELL, YOU ARE THE ONE THAT MAKES ME-"

"OI! KEEP IT DOWN GIRL! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THE STREETS THIS LATE AT NIGHT, HUH?! YOU'LL GET ROBBED YOU SEE AYE!" An elderly man yelled at Sally from his window.

Sally turned around, looked at the man, and blew a raspberry at him.

"Oh, you'll see when I tell your mother young lady!" The old man shook his fist at her. Sally smiled at the man and went on to skipping and humming the tune.

Since her and her mom moved to Liverpool since the passing of her father, Sally still had her American accent, kids at school made fun of her for it. She didn't really mind, but she's been trying to be quiet so she doesn't get picked on by her schoolmates. Her mother says their accents are unique. Sally doesn't think so.
