Chapter 91

All the students, once all counted, were allowed to go home. The school was going to be shut down for the rest of the week, as serious repairs needed to be made. When back at school, serious matters would be discussed.

When Lizzie arrived home, Joel hugged her as soon as she entered the door.

J= You're right I was being a bit over the top about the job and I spent the day with Buddy and I missed him so much and also I'm sorry for you having to sleep on the sofa and are you okay??? I heard about the fire.

L= So that's why you're being nice.

J= I'm serious!

L= (suddenly starts crying)

J= What's wrong Liz? (Holds tight)

L= I thought I was going to die! I was in isolation -

J= Isolation?

L= Tia. And anyway I was in isolation and suddenly there was smoke and the door burned down and fire trapped me and then Tia knocked down the wall and we escaped to the yard as the fire had spread!

J= Tia saved you?

L= Cause she started the fire!!!

J= WHAT!? Does the head know?

L= Not yet! There's no school until they repair everything that's burned down.

J= How about we relax for the rest of the week then, maybe invite the gang over?

L= Perfect idea (smiles)

The next days were spent watching films, cuddling, hanging with Tiffany, Yammy, Lauren, Jess, Callum, Scott and Oli. They decided to play spin the bottle at the weekend.

L= Yammy where's Kyle?

Y= Looking after Dante.

L= Ohhhh. Well, shall we start?

Lau= Yesss

Oli= I'm not comfortable kissing everyone here, maybe we should add a twist?

Callum= The person it lands on gives us a dare?

J= Perfect!

L= Kinda defeats the object of the game but ok

Lau= I'll start!

The bottle spins around furiously, and lands on Scott.

S= Lauren, hmm, you have to do a silly dance in the middle.

Lau= Fine! (Stands up and does the chicken dance) That was easy.

Scott spins, and it lands on Jess.

Jess= Hmm lick the wall

L+J= Nooo

Jess= Yes!

Scott licked the wall, immediately running to the sink to wash his mouth.

Jess= Haha (spins bottle) Lizzie!!

L= Oooo I dare you to snog Callum!!

Jess= Easyyy (kisses Callum with passion)

They both don't let go for a while.

L= Uhh my turn now?

Jess= Oh yeah.

Lizzie spins the bottle. It lands on Yammy.

Y= I dare you to change the game to 7 minutes in heaven!!!

L= Ummm

Lau= Yes!!!

Tiff= Oh no

J= Uhhh

Lizzie's eyes search the room, a few look eager to play..

L= Fine! Who wants to start?

Y= I should but Kyle isn't here, Lizzie you start cause you didn't do anything really. (smiles)

Lizzie smiles at Joel, both of them hopes he gets chosen. They watch as the bottle spins around and around, until it stops....

L= Callum.

Jess' and Joel's faces fill up with fury.

Y= You have 7 mins, get in the cupboard! You have to do something  and not just talk!!

They both trot inside the cupboard.

Callum= Well this is awkward.

L= I was kind of hoping to land on Joel..  Sorry

Callum= It's fine..but we have to do something, it's the rules.

L= They won't know!

Callum= Well Lauren must've set up a camera (points at camera)

L= Great. I'll text Joel. You text Jess.

Callum= My phone's out there.

L= She'll know it's the game. Don't worry.

They both start moving closer. Their lips touch but they immediately pull away.

L= That'll never happen again

Callum= Definitely not.

The burst out laughing, and their time is up.

The whole group watches the video and Joel and Jess laugh with relief.

L= I love only you Joel (kisses)

J= Glad to know (smiles)

L= School finally starts again tomorrow. I hope Tia gets found out.
