Lots of time had past ever since the battle on the Storm Spire and many things have changed. One thing that Elm would have hope for was a future with Rayla but due to the disappearance of Claudia and Viren Rayla had gone on her own journey to find them. Eveyday since Elm hoped that Rayla would come back but after two years she started to lose hope. But one day the air shifts, something feel off, something has happen. So what will happen when Rayla return with nothing to show, Claudia comes out from hiding searching for a elf named Aaravos who's been imprisoned for many centuries. Will the four friends find aaravos prison before the Claudia does. What will happen to the friends along the way, will Elm and Rayla be able to rebuild the relationship they had before, and will Elm change for the better or worse. this a continuation from my previous story The axe and two swords

Philomena and Diana are Rayla's adoptive sisters. When Rayla's parents joined the dragon guard Ena and Diana's parents Runaan and Ethari took her in. Ena was delighted when Rayla first moved in as they've been friends since they were babies . Diana who was 3 at the time was a bit scared of her as she wasn't used to new people. Making friends has always been a problem for her as she painfully shy and was also born with a mobility issue which required her to walk with a crutch. So she usually kept to herself. Diana has since warmed up to rayla and despite their different personality's and fights between Ena and Rayla the three were very close to one another. When humans killed the dragon king and destroyed the egg of the dragon prince. Runaan brought Ena and Rayla on the mission to kill king Harrow and his son prince Ezren. But when Rayla and two human princes make a discovery that could change everything. Ena is forced to make a decision on whether to continue on the mission at hand or join her sister and the princes on a journey to return the dragon prince to his mother and change the world.

Iris was living with her uncle, King Harrow and cousins, Ezrin and Callum while her mother General Amaya was at the border. One day her uncle tells them to go to the bantherlodge but what they didn't expect was 2 elves to break into the castle to kill King Harrow and Ezrin but when they find the egg of the dragon Prince everything changes.

Elm a 16 year old girl born and raised in the forest of katoils, living with her father, Everett and two animal companions. Koda a wolf and Grim a raven. one day Elm runs through the forest, getting away from the destruction of an axe she broke that her father had been working on for a while. she had planned on just going to the banther lodge and waiting out until her father's anger calmed but what she didn't plan on doing was traveling the world with three very interesting people to bring back an egg that could stop a war between humans and elves. what will happen to Elm and her friends on this journey now do remember that this is a rewriting so some chapters might be similar and others completely different also I don't any characters besides Elm, her animal companions, Everett, Mei, and Faber hope you enjoy. :)
