Afterstory 3: Legend Of Wind And Winter

The winds of autumn bring forth winter to the world.

A true statement and proverb that is well known at in South Vargaya no matter how many different lenses you look under. Be it the dreary clouds filled with snow that get blown by  the pleasant and harsh winds the snow always come out unshaken and elegant.

Whenever the wind is angry the falling snowflakes rush and dance along with the wind's flow as if a small futile attempt to calm the wind.

Many old folks say that the deity of wind and deity of winter are really good friends, be it in the legends passed down from the nations of Regnopraxie and Cove Callum to the many tales passed on by tongue by the travelers at sea. It is portrayed is tales and legends that the deity of wind is quite calming during spring and summer. But once autumn starts to hit and all throughout winter the deity of the wind Fwahll, gets noticeably upset and quite frisky. Especially those towards who come in contact with the winter deity Froschtalia.

The reason why is not exactly sure, heck even scholars are not sure as to why he is portrayed as such, especially to the deity of winter.

But despite all that. Those are just wives tales and rumors passed around in pubs....are they not?

Uwahhhh....traveling sure gets to soothe ones nerves, traveling to ten different continents and the like to help maintain the flow of the winds, life as a deity sure is hard. But now with that duty out of the way a huge issue has come a foot and that issue is regarding my dear angel and pure as snow divine Froschtalia. I call her Talia for short.

Now to why this would be such a big issue? Simple, since Talia looks like a twelve year old girl she is so gonna get devoured by wolves in her journey since it's already the end of autumn in other places she's headed out to bring winter to those other places. Just thinking of the improper deeds that some bandits may do is something I won't tolerate for. And though she may say that she can easily protect herself then what if she gets silenced, what if she gets lead on first.

One could say that I'm a foolish deity who is in love, but this is the truth. For my feelings of obligation towards her have turned into feelings of love and desire all these years. The times I've spent guiding her and helping her bring winter. The times I helped her with her problems, all of them helped me fall in love with this young divine.

Heck one may even call me the "Talia police force" a nickname I graciously accepted from my deity companions Ostium and Holia. Oh boy I can't wait. But first let me head off to  Cove Callum and see how the kingdom is doing, they better not mess it up.

And as well as to meet a certain deity who may help me.

Froschtalia PoV

I glanced at the snowscape at the newly founded kingdom of Regnopraxie. Yes I helped in the foundation of the kingdom. Heck they wouldn't even have alchemy were it not for my blessing so do give me a break. Though I'm proud of that since despite me being a deity of winter I also am the deity of alchemy so it is sort of my pride. I sigh in a pleasant voice while reminiscing of the memories and events that occurred. Speaking of I'm sure that guy is coming again and insisting on coming along for the ride. This has been a common thing between me and the deity of wind.

Some time after the intruder has been barred from this world it did take me time to recuperate and regain my strength so while I was in a difficult situation that deity, Fwahll often helped me out. He did so ins so many ways as he also took some time off on his own duties. Know I don't know what his motives are and I even asked Sandalphonia about it but he mentioned "he is just an idiot who doesn't know how to channel his thoughts properly so do bare with him." He said with a smile.
