Chapter 71: The Lawful And The Guiding Wind

After separating from each other me and Fwahll eventually found each other, then we felt a huge surge of power emanating west from where we were. We made a mad dash to see that bastard being done in. Like I'm gonna let that sly bastard die without paying his dues, accident or not!

"Ready?" Fwahll asks for confirmation, though we haven't been quite close he is one of the more reliable allies in our bunch.

"As much as I'll ever be..." I sigh in response, looks like it's gonna be a real battle from here huh.

"[Lawful Break]!"

"[Air Dome!]"

With those words the levitating guns and artillery fell down which surprised the intruder. And an air dome began to form around that gate bastard.

"Don't you dare get killed old fool, you still have a debt to Sandalphonia!" I scowl in anger as I whirl my whip.

"To think you could be cornered, what kind of gate deity are you?" Fwahll says condescendingly. Nice one wind bag.

"Damn more nuisances have arrived." he mutters and fiddles with hi rod like weapon.

I felt a change of power coming from the man, his anger seems to have drove him more to get us off his tail. Man this is gonna be a pain in the ass.

"Lord Ostium snap the heck out of it, ya now it's not over ya fool!" Fwahll cries out as he focuses on fortifications of the barrier.

"Guh! Just be gone already you lot are already a hindrance as it is!" He scowls at us as he begins firing his strange rod aiming at Fwahll.

"Hey Fwahll watch out!" I shout a warning.

"!!!"

*Boom!* *Boom!*

He manages to dodge while keeping his air dome intact. The intruder then grabs something for his belt, a small ball like thing, the then pulls out some cork and throws it at us.

"You guys! Watch out, that's a bomb!" Ostium shouts out.

"...!!"  We narrowly evade the small ball and distanced ourselves from it, then it let out a huge explosion.

I glanced at Fwahll to which he mouths me to distract him for awhile. Man this is a pain.

"Gah! [Lawful Chains] bind this fool!" I shouted out. Chains of magic began to materialize, and then began aiming at the intruder.

"Tssk..." He fiddles with his rod like weapon and aims it at the chains, but was stopped by the gate bastard when he summons a portal right at his face which surprised him.

"[Vacuum]" Ostium calls out and the portal then seems to be drawing wind in front of it, in this case the intruder.

"Argh! Such a pain! Haltreo!" 

A pale light glows around him and vanishes making all of the spells that were coming towards him vanish in an instant, when the light slowly dissipates the familiar sound and force of his weapon can be felt and there he was now aiming and rushing straight at us. Despite his powers being hugely restrained by the creator he is still a handful, getting hit with his attack will send us somewhere unpleasant after all.
