One step ahead of you

"Zoella time for school," Ms. Marks yelled. I mentally groaned and snuggled closer to my pillow. Hmm... Odd? My pillow is tough and warm. I tried to move but two hands held me in place. Oh crap! did me and Brandon fall asleep. I opened my eyes and noticed it was him and he looked so peaceful when he's sleeping. I didn't want to get up but Ms. Marks is here and-Shit she must of seen us then!-Or probably not... Yeah, hopefully. I nudged Brandon hoping he would stir at least. To my luck he groaned and held me closer. Damn this boy.

"Brandon," I hissed trying to wake him up.

What should I do to wake up Brandon?

I managed to free my hand and slapped Brandon across the face.

His eyes widened and he held his face. Maybe I might of hit a bit too hard...

"What the Hell Zoella," he groaned still holding the side of his face.

"Brandon I'm sorry it's just Ms-Mom is here," I corrected myself from saying Ms. Marks.

"I was going to ask you why you live with Ms. Marks?" He asked. Wait how does he know? What the flipping pancake?!?!

"How..." I trailed off luckily he knew what I was inquiring to.

"She came home last night and saw me passed out sleeping in the couch. I ended up there when I was shooing Riley and Rivers away. Anyways she greeted me and told me to stay and that it was okay to sleep in the guest room."

"Ohhh... Yeah she's family to me."

"Oh well yea and we better get going before we're late," He stated. I got up and did my morning routine. I was all dressed up within fifteen minutes. I wore a skirt that went well with my top and I added a few accessories.  I put some deodorant of course and sprayed some perform. I let my hair done but brushed it to and my hair went into some natural beach waves.

"Let go," I quickly said as I ran out since I smelled bacon!

"Morning Zoella and Brandon," Ms. Marks snickered as she nudged me. I swear when she wants to act like a high school teen girl she's a whole different person but I really love that side of her. Brandon Cracked a smile and his eyes brightened up as he saw Pancakes.

"I made you guys breakfast and I have to go since I have ro attend a boring meeting about teacher stuff. You kids wouldn't understand," she sighed. I laughed in response as she acted all dramatic.

"Bye Ms. Marks," Brandon waved as she was out the door.

"Call me Hailey dear," She yelled as she left.

"Just so we are clear you can only call her that here or outside of school," I clarified.

"Ofkey Dockay," he muffled as he stuffed some pancakes into his mouth.

"Your such a dork," I beamed as I ruffled his hair and ate my breakfast.

"Brandon I want to fly," I rambled as we walked. We were already by the school.

"We'll life is unfair so be happy you've got legs," he chimed in and gave my hand a squeeze. I smiled at him and I'm so glad to have him in my life. You know that moment when you realize just how much your life has changed and how much your feelings for someone has grown? Yeah I'm feeling like that.

"They're so cute. It was about time," someone whispered. I couldn't stop smiling and it was due to the foolish boy next to me.

"Babe? My mom wants you to come eat dinner again," Brandon blurted out. My lips rose at the mention of his mom and dinner.
