1.23 "A Werewolf Bite Kills A Vampire"

At the Salvatore Mansion.

I walked into the mansion and saw Damon locking the front door.

I rolled my eyes "You think a werewolf isn't able to take down a piece of wood?"

Damon growled pissed off"This is your fault "

He walked into the library.

I followed him "how in the fucking hell is that my fault? She came at me!"

Damon's eyes landed on someone behind me " You just can't stay away, can you?"

Rose " You don't answer your phone."

I rolled my eyes. 

Damon " What do you want?"

Rose " I wanted to apologize."

Damon " Just admit it, you don't have anywhere else to go."

Rose " I'm sorry about Elena. I wasn't thinking straight. I didn't know that she had a death wish but I called you, I tried to make it right, okay? I'm sorry, Damon. And I have nowhere else to go."

Damon "There's nothing here for you, Rose."

Rose sighed " Well, then-"

Suddenly we could hear something like breaking glass from another part of the house.

Damon and i looked at each other.

We walked to the living room. Suddenly the window shattered as a wolf lunged into the living room. Damon grabbed a sword hanging on the wall and swung it out.

The wolf came at me. Rose pushed me out of the way; the wolf jumped on her, pushed her on her back on the floor, and bit into her shoulder. Damon stabbed the wolf and the wolf left.

Rose asked shocked "How bad is it?"

I speeded to her side and moved her shirt.

Rose cried out" It hurts."

The bite healed.

Damon said suprised " It's healing."

Rose sobbed out relieved " Oh my God, I thought a werewolf bite was fatal! I thought-"

She started to cry. Damon hugged her.

Damon whispered "You're gonna be okay."

Nothing is going to be okay.

I walked into the living room and saw Damon sitting on the ground leaning against the sofa and starring into the fireplace.

Me "I talked to Care. Tyler was all locked up"

Damon "Jules."

I bit my lip and sat down next to him.

Damon "I'm happy that the legend was fake. Maybe the werewolves made it up to keep vampires away."

I sighed and shook my head "Damon, a werewolf bite kills a vampire"

Damon "Maybe her teeth didn't go deep"

I sighed "Damon"

Damon sighed nodding "i know"

I bit my lip "Elijah stopped by this morning"

His eyes widened "Are you kidding me? "

I shook my head "nope"

Damon "what did he want?"

Me "i made a deal with him."

Damon raised an eyebrow  "what deal?"

Me "Elijah wants Elena to use her to bring Klaus to Mystic Falls."

Damon asked shocked " what?!"

Me "Let me talk"

Damon "what did you want in return?"

Me "You and the others stay out of the plan. Elijah gave me his word to keep you all out of it. It's only between him, Nik and Elena"

Damon scoffed, shaking his head "i can't believe you did that"

I scoffed "of course not. Elena is all you can think off"

Damon raised an eyebrow "What are you even talking about?"

I chuckled "Come on, Damon. I know you, you don't have to hide from me. You have feelings for your brother's girl"

Damon shook his head.

Me "Damon, i love you but you really have a bad taste when it comes to women"

Damon rolled his eyes and got up. 

He handed me his drink "Night, Adi"

I smiled "Night, D."

He left. I looked into the flames. I gulped the drink down and put the glass on the table.

The front door opened and Stefan walked inside. 

I looked at him "Hey"

He crossed his arms over his chest and smiled.

I stood up, smiling confused  "What?"

Stefan "Elijah told me what you asked him for"

Me "And?"

Stefan "Thank you, Adelaide. "

Me "Hope you enjoyed the time you spent with her "

Stefan chuckled "Well, now she's all alone in there"

I nodded, smirking" Is Elena happy to see you?"

Stefan shrugged "i don't know. I wanted to thank you first before i go see her"

I said surprised "okay "

Stefan smiled and walked out.

Damon came down and looked at me"was that Stefan?"

I nodded.

Damon "He's out?"

I nodded.

Damon shrugged "okay "
