1.1 "I'm Back"

Adelaide's pov

I was walking through the founder's fest. It reminded me of the old days

It was dark but the place was shining with latterns and lights. 

People were running around, enjoying themselves. 

Suddenly there was someone yelling in pain. I was going to turn around but then the same pain hit me like a train. I fell on my knees and grabbed my head. 

I started to scream.

Then I heard someone come closer. 

I looked up, in pain "John?"

He took a syringe out and injected me something.

I started to feel weak and fell back but i was caught before i hit the ground.

I coughed and groaned in pain. 

I heard John talking to someone.  People were pouring benzine around. More vampires were down here which meant that he's gonna kill us vampires. Son of a bitch. 

John looked at the girl in the ground  "Anna. "

Then he took a stake out.

Anna was begging for her life. 

John staked her and poured benzine on her body. 

Then he lit a match and threw it at her body. She caught fire..the fire's gonna spread fast. 

Suddenly i heard someone call out to me "Adelaide?"

I looked around, coughing and froze "Damon?"

He was lying on the ground, coughing.

Oh my god.

The fire was spreading fast. Smoke was everywhere. 

I stood up and put my arm over my mouth and nose to cover them from the smoke.

Then i made my way over to Damon. Some vampires were burning to ashes. 

Damon tried to stand up but slipped. 

I caught him before he hit the ground. He put his arm around my shoulders. 

Thank god that the vervain didn't have any strong effect one me. 

We stumbled over to the stairs and i looked at them. 

Oh shit. They were covered in fire. 

Damon coughed out "This is not good"

I rolled my eyes coughing and speeded us up the stairs and broke the door open with every strength i had.

Then I pushed us outside and let Damon fall on his knees. 

He was a coughing mess.

I tried to calm down.

Suddenly i heard someone coming closer. I looked at Damon who was still on the ground coughing his life out.

I speeded behind the next building. I looked around the corner and saw Stefan, a dark skinned girl and....my sister? wait what? Ah, must be the doppelganger. Great.

I raised an eyebrow.

Stefan asked confused "Who the hell got you out of there?"

He helped Damon up. 

Damon leaned against the wall and looked around.

Probably searching for me.

Stefan looked at his brother, confused "Damon, who are you searching for?"

Damon looked at his brother "Adelaide"

I could see Stefan's eyes widened and he got a little pale. I smiled a little.

The doppelganger looked at them confused.

Stefan "what?"

Damon nodded "You heard me, Stefan, Adelaide"

Stefan didn't look amused at all "I'm serious, Damon"

Damon looked at him, serious  "so am i"

Stefan shook his head "That's impossible."

Damon "you better believe it"

Stefan "Damon ,The last time we saw her was..."

Damon sighed "1864"

I raised an eyebrow amused. 

The doppelganger asked confused "who is Adelaide?"

Stefan ignored her" if she's alive and here then.."

Damon took a deep breath ".....The other one is around, too"

Stefan sighed, annoyed "great"

The Doppelganger asked even more confused "would please anyone tell me who Adelaide is?"

I rolled my eyes.

Stefan took a deep breath. Looks like he's calming himself down.

Damon looked at his brother worried "You okay, brother?"

Stefan just walked away.

The girl ran after him "Stefan!"
