March 11, 1956

Jack came back to the hotel looking rather furious about something.

When he saw Jackie he seemed to relax, ever so slightly though.

"Jackie." he said, before she threw her arms around him.

"I'm sorry." she muttered.

"For what?" he asked, though Jackie knew him well enough by now that he knew perfectly well what she was apologizing for.

"For running off in the middle of the night, I just found a bird and I had to help it." Jackie knew it sounded rather dumb.

Then again if you listened in on married couples fights you would find they all were pretty dumb.

"It's fine Jackie." Jack said, though he tightened his grip on her.

Jack had lost many things in his life, Jackie knew. His older brother, his favorite sister, but he wouldn't lose her.

She kissed him on the lips.

She whispered so softly that he couldn't here,"I'll be with you till the end."
