Jack came home later than usual and looking tired as heck.

Jackie, who had been worried sick hurried downstairs to see if it was Jack, she was in her night clothes with Bella on her hip.

"Jack." she said in relief.

Jack groaned in pain.

Jackie was immediately worried and guided her husband to the couch.

"Jack what's wrong?" Jackie asked, setting Bella down.

"Had a small Addison's attack at work." he muttered.

Alarm bells went off in Jackie's head.

"How bad?" she asked.

"Not very bad, I think I need different medicine, I only blacked out for half an hour, the other senator woke me up, thought I was sleeping on the job again..."

"Only half... you know what Jack, we're going to the hospital.

Jack shook his head,"No..."
"Yes." She said firmly.

And she helped the man who was her husband stand and escorted him to the car so she could see what she could do to take away his pain.
