Unknown date

Jackie awoke in a bright room, all she saw was white, she panicked, was she blind!?

That thought left as quickly as it came though because the logical side of her brain told her You were having a miscarriage not a bout of scarlet fever.

Jackie looked around and found that the white she had been staring at was a wall.

Oh.

On her left she saw the familiar shape of her daughter, lying next to her, in the chair on the left was Jack, head slanted back and snoring loudly.

Suddenly the events of today... yesterday... two days ago...? However long she'd been asleep, came rushing back to her.

She sat bolt upright, nearly pushing Bella off the cot.

A nurse conveniently came in then.

"Hello?" Jackie asked.

The nurse rushed over to her.

"Mrs. Kennedy!" She exclaimed.

"What happened, is the baby alright!?" Jackie asked, shaking the nurse's shoulders.

The nurse gently pried Jackie's hands off her shoulders,"The child is alive. It was a near miscarriage, you will have to stay here for another week, then you may leave."

Jackie cried out,"But I'll miss easter! It's my daughter's first easter!"
"Mrs. Kennedy, I'm afraid you've already missed easter, it's the second of April." The nurse said in sympathy,

Jackie's eyes widened.

"What!"
