"Pop?" One of the kids gently shook me awake.

"Hmm?" I didn't open my eyes.

"Let's do some yoga together." She said.

"I know, but dad's not here to do it with you. I thought, maybe, we could do it together." She suggested.

"Where's he at?" I moved to look around the room.

"He was called in the s'morning." She told me and handed me a note.

I took the note and sat up to read it.

Sorry I had to leave without telling you but you were sound asleep and I didn't wanna wake you. They called me in for an emergency because something bad happened but they wouldn't tell me what.
