You grinned like a mad woman upon walking in on Ed and Oswald, hugging each other tightly. Your heart couldn't take the sweetness. For the longest time, Oswald hasn't been truly happy. Since his beloved mother passed, he can't seem to find a reason to feel... anything anymore.
He's been your best friend for years now and you can remember a time where he was the happiest person in the world. But then life happened and it slowly drained him and took everything away from him. But then, he met Ed. Edward Nygma is actually a good man that you yourself have always gotten along with.
And Ed has really shown that he truly does like Oswald. You've told him countless times how that makes you feel so incredibly happy to see the light on Oswald's face because of him. It makes you feel lighter than air. Clearly there's a long journey ahead with Oswald being mayor now. But as long as Ed is here to keep him going, he'll do just fine.
