"I'm not perfect but I'm not worthless

But if it's up to me, I'd bet on me every time (Every time)

Drop me to the bottom of the ocean

Fighting for my breath, my lungs arе closing

Letting you go is where I bеgin

It's up to me to sink or swim, sink or swim

Frozen, baby, my mind's in slow motion

Letting you go is where I begin

It's up to me to sink or swim, sink or swim,"

"Cards & Rings of Honors..."

The weird girl uttered those words as we take the dark passage through an unknown trail. Though I had no idea what those meant, something in her voice, something deep and ancient that spoke of long-forgotten secrets, filled me with a sense of trepidation. I knew there was something more she was going to blabber, but what?

When I didn't budge nor respond even a tiny bit and decided to just listen to her, she stopped in the midway, facing me before continuing, "The thing on your hand, that's what it's called." She said, gesturing the little card and velvet box to perk my attention.

I peered down at it, and swiftly put the ring on my finger as the dull orange glow of burning embers was guiding our way forward in the dark passage. It had been placed there with a mysterious weight, a sense of divinity in its touch that left me feeling simultaneously drawn in and repelled.

"Oh, yeah? Thanks for stating the obvious, weirdo." I said rolling my eyes in boredom. Didn't she just said that literally moments earlier? Was she expecting me to forget already? This bitch. All along, I thought she will tell me bunch of shits about the game while we descend into the dark depths of the school's corridor, but up until now, there's no useful information coming up her darn mouth.

"That's it, Ruby..." I hummed in a whispered voice.

I'm done with her staying condescending all through out our walk. If she thinks she can keep her cheap tricks and wasteful words with me, that won't work. I won't let her walk all over me. I know what I know, and I'm not going to be taken for a ride.

I sighed, and stopped walking momentarily collecting my inner patience and thoughts, "Hey, just to be clear... I'm not some sort of naive little girl who can't pick up fast. I now know what my hands are grappling on, what I want is fresh info's... not some rotten and obvious talk. So, you better talk now or else I'll fucking leave."
