Y/N just stepped off the train station. She was on her way home from a long day at work. She tugged on her work bag wanting to get rid of it.

Her phone rang in her pocket. The evening sunset cast a glow in the sky. She stopped at the crosswalk looking at her phone screen. Her mom's number came across the screen. Y/N pulled on her bag again frustrated.

Hitting the button she held the phone up to her ear, "Hey mom."

She looked both ways seeing a car approach. Y/N took the chance to cross the street listening to her mom rant about her day. Y/N rolled her eyes not feeling in the mood to talk. The car slowed down and stopped in the middle of the crosswalk.

Y/N's back was facing the car oblivious to the mystery man watching her through his dark-tinted windows. Y/N's head turned slightly hearing a car horn beep. Y/N squinted her eyes not understanding the motive.

"Mom, I'll call you back. Love you." Y/N quickly hung up the phone.

He rolled down the window sticking his head out. Cench smiled at her trying to appear as friendly as possible.

"You alright?" He asked noticing her low mood.

"Whose asking?" She said eyeing his sleek black car.

Oakley leaned further out the window hanging his arms out, "I just wanted to tell you that you're very pretty."

Y/N blushed, "Uh-huh."

"What? You don't believe me?" He questioned her flashing her another smile.

Y/N could feel her cheeks hurt from how hard she was smiling, "I just think it's weird that you're trynna holla at me from your car window."

It was his turn to laugh now, "Ah, I see. Can I get your number?"

Y/N nodded moving to the car window. She recited her digits allowing him to enter them into his own phone.

"I'll be sure to text you." He said.

"See you," Y/N said waving goodbye.

"Oh, you for sure will."

Y/N watched him drive off. She shook her head replaying their cute moment. By the time she got home, she was on cloud nine. Her spirits had been lifted and she no longer felt moody like before. Her phone pinged notifying her of a text message.

I hope you made it home safely. I'd love to take you out sometime.

-Oakley
