A few more texts back and forth with Ed I find out she is in LA. I book the first flight out and text Brandon, so at least he knows I am coming. On the plane I search everything I can about her book. It was released nearly five years ago, a few months after our break up. It is published by a small company that publishes indie books and poetry based in LA. She has only done three readings of the book, in a book store in Nyc, in LA and in New Haven not long after its release.
The new edition came out a month ago, with some additional poems. I still can't believe she wrote this. Its such a loving gesture. Though I am not sure if the book is for me, or for herself.
I learn that she has a book signing and writing course tomorrow early at Skylight Books.
