I looked up at Kate; her eyes were teary, too. She stood up and tried to take Edward's hands but he pulled away.

"No, just, don't touch me! Just don't!" He ran upstairs to his room.

"I'll go talk to him," I said, and walked upstairs.

We were in the middle of the desert, shooting our music video for our single "Skyscraper". It was just a huge performance scene, but with just me standing, and Edward behind me, playing his black, baby grand. It was supposed to represent my budding strength and his encouragement after my treatment.
