Lost Identity

Chapter 57

The envelope contained the contract she asked him for. She read it thoroughly and it was to the point, just as they had agreed that day, face to face. It was only a prototype and so she had to meet him again to sign the real one and get updated on his plans.

So, she went to meet him. This time again in a private room of another restaurant. He laid out the blueprint of the building of the organization. He handed her a file, "Here's the list of the current members and any outsider who's let inside the building". She started reading it. He waited for a while and continued, while pointing at a young boy's picture on the list, "You see that young boy!". She stared at it for a while and then looked up at him, her lower jaw slightly dropped and then smirked. He giggled as well, "Yeah! We got lucky here! You'll kidnap him  I'll give you his day-to-day routine and you can figure out the rest. Disguise like him and come to the entrance. I'll take it from there. We'll first visit the Archives and the Server rooms in the Underground sector. You can take anything you want from there. Then we'll go up to the Chief's floor. Then you're free to do as you please" (smiled at her). She was still reading the list, "When are we moving in?". "In two days' time. I'm sure you haven't brought anything with you. Tomorrow I'll send you everything you'll need". She thanked him with a straight face, thinking, "Hus, you sly fox! I'm sure there are other ulterior motives behind your nice aura towards me. You think I'll buy your bluff. Never in a million years!". She left.

Next day, she received a heavy parcel, which had all the weapons she would need to carry out the mission, just as that man had told her. She also filled the boyband in on the plan. She told them to be on standby as they might need to leave the country right after she completes her job there.

Next day. The day to start their mission.
Joanne got ready and moved out at 6am and arrived at the young boy's apartment's underground garage. She sneaked into his car's back seat, waiting for him to come down. Soon after, he came and got into his car. After fastening the seat belt, he noticed an unfamiliar face in the rear view mirror. He was quite surprised at her stealthiness. She said smiling, "Nothing personal kid, but I'm not sorry either". He carefully tried to reach for his phone in his pocket but she knocked him out with a drug in the blink of an eye. She then dragged his body behind and took off his jacket, shirt, pants and some other accessories that he had on himself, and put them on herself to dress like him. She also had her hair cut to match his neck-length messy hair. She then swiftly bagged him up and put him on the car's deck and took his place. For the finishing touches, she put on some makeup to tone down her complexion to match his, added a muffler and a face mask to pretend to have a cold. She then drove up to the building where their main operation was going to take place, parked the car and arrived at the entrance, just as planned.
