One day, Jishin had to go to that same village where Joanne had initially escaped to, to inspect some land he wanted to buy. On his way back, he caught only a glimpse of a girl standing at a payphone, hood on, just her side profile, from his car. He immediately stopped his car, got out and approached her from behind. That girl was talking to someone on the phone and noticed a presence behind her and put down the phone and froze in her position. He delightfully exclaimed, "We finally meet again!" grinning. She started to walk away without turning around or showing her face to him. In the meantime, Seoyun had also followed him out of the car and was standing right behind him, assessing the situation, "Stop right there or I'll shoot!". She ignored them and kept walking forward. While Jishin pushed down Seoyun's hand that was holding the gun, he pointed towards that girl, and whispered in his ear, "No!". Jishin then hurried to catch up with her, grabbed her hand from behind, turned her around and pulled her close to his chest, holding her waist. She, as a reflex, grabbed his windpipe tightly with her lean but sturdy fingers. Their eyes finally met. The girl was calm and cold, while his eyes were full of excitement. It was as if he was flipping with joy, inside. After a brief moment, they freed each other. And Jishin asked her, "Why did you leave?". She mocked at him, saying, " 'cause I didn't wanna stay". "Then what about Levi? You care about him, right? How..". She cut him off and said coldly, "I don't!".
