The plastic bottle spun in a circular motion, going a full six rotations before its momentum dwindled down into a slow turn. (Y/N) and Kaminari leaned in closer as they watched who it would land on in anticipation, and as its turning grew slower and slower, it had finally stopped.

It landed on Kaminari, to which he pumped his fist in victory and cheekily grinned at (Y/N), who only let a small sigh fall from her lips. Although there was only two people in this classic game of spin the bottle, it didn't make it any less fun.

He leaned back and hummed, thinking of a dare to get her to do that would make the game even more exciting. He sat thinking for a while, loud hums coming out from his mouth as no matter what, he couldn't think of anything.

He grew quiet and began to lean forward, looking at (Y/N) with an inquisitive expression as dares no longer plagued his minds, but the option for a truth to be told.

"I know we're supposed to be doing dares, but can I ask you something?" Kaminari questioned as he picked up the bottle and placed it upright.

(Y/N) tilted her head lightly to the side, wondering why he looked bothered, but was quick to nod her head.

"Of course."

Negative insecure thoughts couldn't help but plague his mind. Was she really enjoying herself or was she just pretending for the sake of keeping him happy? Was she actually happy playing these dumb little games with him all evening or was she secretly dreading it and waiting for it to be over? Did she really want to be with him?

"Do you ever regret, you know, staying here?" Kaminari asked as he pressed his lips together and rubbed the back of his neck lightly.

She immediately understood what he was implying by 'staying here', and no it didn't mean renting an apartment with him but living in this world altogether.

The beat of silence in between Kaminari's question and (Y/N)'s answer was long and tense, an awkward air forming as he mentally scolded his internal worries for ruining the playful mood. Though when he saw her lips quirk into a small smile, a sense of relief struck him.

"No." She said while nodding her head slowly.

Dragging her finger in small circular motions on the floor, (Y/N) continued to talk as she thought about those that she was once so close to, fighting not to be heroes in a society where they were publicly needed, but as vigilantes for a need everyone was oblivious to.

"I'm not going to lie, I do regret not telling my old friends how much I loved being with them all, but that's in the past."

(Y/N) felt the blood vessels in her cheeks dilate lightly as she hesitated with her next words.

"I like being here... with you."

Kaminari held a blank expression and blinked slowly as he registered her words. Then suddenly, his face turned sour, his lips puckering up and eyes squinting.

"AWWW COME HERE YOU!"

He crawled over to (Y/N) and threw his arms around her shoulders, pulling her close as he rubbed his cheek affectionately against hers. At first her expression morphed into a small pout from being tackled into a hug so quickly, however she couldn't help the light laughs that fell from her lips as he peppered quick small kisses along her jawline.

As he pulled away with a small dramatic sniffle, he couldn't help but stare at (Y/N)'s face, mesmerized with infatuation.

"Ah! I'm the luckiest man on this planet~" He remarked with a wide grin as he let go of her shoulders and scooched back to create distance between the two.
