Veronica's POV...
After a while Selena and Kaitlyn returned.
"What did you guys find out?" I asked as all of them returned to the car.
"Well, her mother hates us and well every Johnson to exist in our family." Selena said.
"Who doesn't?" Ava said and I rolled my eyes.
"Anything else?" I asked.
"Nothing relevant." Kaitlyn said.
"The flash drive?!" I asked immediately remembering.
"Yeah about that, we couldn't find it." They said and for some reason my mind ran on Black Masked.
"How's that- shit!" I yelled in frustration.
"Calm down. We'll figure that out later. For now we have bigger fish to fry." Ava said and we all looked at her confused with a dark feeling.
"You have to elaborate because if its bigger than that flashdrive, it's gotta be important." I said.
"It is. On my call with my dad, I asked where he was at and he said he was dining with some old friends." She said and we looked even more confused at her.
"How's that relevant to anything?" Kaitlyn asked.
"Because I heard someone called Mr and Mrs Johnson in the background. Like an important person or something." She said.
"As in our-" Selena said.
"Yeah, I heard Veronica's mother responded something about just one minute, something close to that." Ava said.
"That's weird." Kaitlyn said.
"Yeah, I didn't know our parents were friends?" I asked.
"They aren't. Which means somethings really wrong." Ava said.
"So what do we do?" Kaitlyn asked.
"We follow them and confront them." Ava said.
"That's pretty uhm... quick." I said.
"Don't worry. Evelyn's agreed to help us. She's tracking the call as we speak and once she sends the location we'll be on our way." Ava said.
"When did you call her?" I asked.
"After I'm in finished talking with my dad, I rang her number." Ava said.
"Okay. So what about the flashdrive? You guys do know what will happen to us if that falls into the wrong hands right?!" I reminded them.
"That's the least of our problems right now." Selena said.
"Are you kidding me?! What if-" As I was about to finish speaking, I got a text message and all eyes were on me.
"Is it-" Selena asked.
"Yes, it's the psycho." I said.
Unknown:
Check in the trunk of your car. You can thank me later.
~Black Masked.
"The hell does that mean?" Kaitlyn asked. We all then went out and opened the trunk. There was a small box with a red bow on it.
"Wait! Maybe there's a bomb!" Selena said.
"Really?" Ava asked as we all looked at each other.
"Aren't someone gonna open it?" Kaitlyn asked.
"Why look at me?" I asked.
"Well I'm not opening it!" Kaitlyn said.
"Don't watch me!" Selena said.
"Oh! Goodness sake!" Ava said as she rushed go grabbed it.
"Wait! Ava!" We tried stopping her but she's already opened it.
"There you go. No bomb." Ava said.
"Huh!" I said.
"The flashdrive?!" Kaitlyn said. There's also a sticky note which says play me, Track 98 .
"Why's Black Masked suddenly so kind?" Selena asked.
"Thank me later. This is what the message meant, but track? Oh!" I said. We all went back into the car and plugged in the flashdrive into my laptop and a list of things poped up. I immediately saw Track 98 and clicked it.
Suddenly the song 'Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You' started playing. We all looked at each other confused.
'Hold me now, touch me now, I don't wanna live without you.'
"Didn't think they'd be a romantic type." Kaitlyn said.
"More like a psychotic romantic." I said and Selena shook her head.
"Nothings gonna change my love for you, you ought to know by now how much I love you-" Kaitlyn sang vibing to the song and we all looked at her confused.
"What?! It's a good song!" She said and we shocked our heads.
"Evelyn just sent the location. We should head out!" Ava said and we nodded. Kaitlyn and Selena both sat at the back as I started the car, while Ava was in the passenger seat.
"What's the address?" I asked and Ava looked at me.
"The Johnson's Mansion." She said and I looked away taking a deep breath.
We then headed off to only God knows what's waiting for us.

After arriving, I parked a little distant away as we all met up with Evelyn.
"Veronica, you don't have to go in. We can take it from here." Ava said.
"It's fine. I need to face them sooner or later." I said. We all got out and walked to the Mansion.
"I already disabled the cameras, so they won't see us coming. But we have like three minutes." Evelyn said.
"Thanks Eve." I said and she nodded.
"Wait! Shouldn't we like carry some weapons or something?" Kaitlyn asked.
"Pretty sure we're safe. They won't actually kill us, kill us." Selena said.
"Hmm. Wouldn't be so sure." She said.
"Let's get going!" Ava said.
We stood at the front porch and then quickly burst through. There they were, my mother, Scott and Jackson. There were two other person with them. A lady and a guy, both seem like in their late twenties.
"Busted!" I said and all eyes went on us. Our parents all stood up and looked at us nervously.
