As we entered the hospital, Kaitlyn was quickly admitted and uncle Scott went to fill out the forms and documents.

"Katie. I'm really sorry." I said.

"Its not your fault. I promise. Black Masked is the one to be blamed." She whispered said.

"Hi. I'm doctor Mark Murray. I'll be attending to you shortly." The doctor said to us as we nodded and he left the room.

"Kaitlyn what exactly happened?" I said.

"I felt someone behind me. As I turn around I saw someone in a black hoodie and black masked. As I was about to run I felt my body slipping and rolling down the flight of stairs. I'm now assuming it was black masked creep and she, him or it whatever, they purposely pushed me." Kaitlyn said.

"You're assuming? Its definitely him, her or whatever it is. Gosh! I'm so sorry." I said.

"Its not your fault, I promise. We'll figure something out once I get out of here." Kaitlyn said and I gave a small smile. We then heard two knocks before the door opened.

"Hey girls." Uncle Scott said walking in.

"Uncle Scott." I greeted.

"Mr Johnson." Kaitlyn said.

"You both doing okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, we're fine." I said.

"Speak for yourself. Next time I'll know to watch my tolerance for alcohol wearing heels at the top stairs of a business gathering." She said laughing nervously and I played along.

"I still feel bad." I said.

"Its not your fault. I told you like one hundred times already." She said.

"I'm the one who let us both drink the-" We were interrupted by the doctor walking in.

"Mark." Uncle Scott greeted. Huh? They know each other?

"Scott. Its been a while." They both greeted tapping each other's shoulders. How do they know each other?

"Sure was. We'll catch up later. For now, we should help these girls." Uncle Scott said.

"Veronica Johnson, wow. You really grew to become a beautiful young woman. Fun fact, I was the doctor who was at your birth." He said.

"Woah. Now that's something you don't see happening everyday." Kaitlyn said and we all smiled.

"This your friend? She seems a lot like someone else I know." Doctor Mark Murray said looking at uncle Scott.

"Ha Ha! Very funny." He said and I held back a laugh.

After the doctor wrap the bandages on Kaitlyn's foot around her ankle, she was then given medication for the injury to heal quickly.

"Your leg should be healed in two weeks time. You're lucky it's not broken, its only been dislocated. But its also a bit difficult to moved back to place, so it'll have to heal on its own. These medications will help with the pain." Mark Murray said.

"Thank you doctor Murray." We both said.

"Girls!" We heard Selena voice as the door opened and running in was a worried Selena and Ava.

"Selena." Uncle Scott called looking at me and I gave a 'seriously' look which he shrugged off.

"Uncle Scott. I'm here now." She said.

"Kaitlyn what happened?" Ava asked concerned.

"Nothing. I only twisted my ankle." Kaitlyn lied.

"Did you fall from a flight of stairs?" Selena asked.

"You sure do know a lot. Why bother asking if you already know what happened?" I asked.

"Ronnie." Kaitlyn whispered shout.

"You know what Veronica? You shouldn't even be here right now!" Ava said.

"Excuse me?" I asked.

"That's why we were late. We made a quick stop and found out what happened. Kaitlyn fell from the stairs, possibility of being push and since only both of you were there I can only assume-" I then cut her off.

"What?! You don't assume I pushed her do you? Gosh! Have your hate for me made you that delusional?!" I asked her.

"Wasn't it your fault?" Ava asked.

"You girls shouldn't be arguing in here." Doctor Murray said.

"Look I already said I'm sorry. There's not much I can do." I said.

"Sorry? You're sorry? God! Look around! You are the reason for all of our miseries! I lost both my mother and grandmother, Kaitlyn's mother is in prison whereas her father is a mess, and not to mention Selena losing both her parents and still you treat her like trash! You wouldn't know what any of us are going through!" Ava said out of anger.

"Ava." Selena called her.

"Woah woah! That's enough!" Uncle Scott said. I gestured him to stay back.

"You think I don't know how it feels to be in your position? I lost my father and grandparents and almost did my mother. Maybe you should try standing in my shoes and see what I've been through and what I'm going through." I said as I felt tears fall from my eyes.

"A father and grandparents that hurt, destroyed and killed so many innocent families?" She said and I felt my heart shattered.

"Okay kid you said enough! Veronica let's go." Uncle Scott said. I saw his face went to pure guilt and pain, pretty sure exactly how I'm feeling right now.

"No it isn't enough for her. Say what you really want to say Ava. I've heard worst already!" I said.

"You are your father's daughter. You will always be a Johnson." Ava said.

"Ava! That's enough!" Her father said walking in. Kaitlyn and Selena was shock at her words. Petty much everyone was shocked.

"So, this is- this is how the world... see me as?" I asked as I felt tears roll off my eyes. I squeezed my eyes together trying to wish this was all a nightmare.

"You should leave! Don't cause no more trouble!" Ava said and I nodded.

"Ava! What the hell is wrong with yo-" I didn't wait for Kaitlyn to finish as I quickly left the room. I didn't even realise where I was going. I took immediately went to my car and drove off. I think I heard uncle Scott calling me, but I ignored.

I went to my usual bar. I sat there drinking shots after shots, until someone came and sat next to me.

"I think you've had enough little one." I turned my head to the side to who it was.
