Author's POV...

Couple Years Ago....

"One more push!" The nurse said. The lady on the bed was in labor.

"Arghhhhh!!!!" She screamed as she gave her all. She soon heard crying echoing all over the room.

"Congratulations Mrs Benson! Its a baby girl." The nurse said. After a few minutes the nurse returned holding the wrapped up baby, handing her to the woman. A man then came in, wearing a black office suit.

"Jackson..." the woman said with tears trickling down her face as she looked at the baby whose bright brown eyes were bringing joy to their eyes.

"She's beautiful... like you." The guy, Jackson said.

"Its a shame I wouldn't be around much longer." The lady said.

"Avery.." The guy said sobbing.

"Please don't cry. You must promise to take care of her, make sure she would want nothing and she wouldn't miss me. Just keep my memories alive." The lady Avery said with a low voice, and a whisper voice with the last sentence.

"How can I do this alone?!" Jackson asked.

"You will, because you're strong. And because you have to, I love both of you so much. I also know how much you wanted this baby and I couldn't take this joy away from you." She said.

"Please..don't go." He said.

"I don't want to but... I'm paying for my sins which I did." Avery said crying.

"No! That was not your fault! You didn't mean to." Jackson said.

"Jackson, I want you to take her away after I'm gone. Remove everything, all photos, jewelry every single memory of me. Promise me, Jackson." Avery said.

"I promise." He said sniffing as they both rested their foreheads on each other.

"I'm so sorry Jackson." His mother Martha said.

"Mother, I want to remove everything, all memories of Avery, it was her last wish." Jackson said.

"Okay. Have you thought of a name yet?" His mother asked as they both looked at the baby.

"Her name is Avery Ava Benson." Jackson said.

"Are you sure?" Martha asked and be looked at her.

"Yes. She wanted no memories of her to be seen but she also wanted her memories to stay alive. This is the only way." He said sadly.

"Ava will grow up to be a beautiful girl, just like her mother." Martha said.

"She will." Jackson said.
