The Return

Chapter 7

Evelyn and I both walked back to my apartment.

"Are you sure you don't wanna come up for some tea or something?" I asked.

"No its fine. I have something to do anyways. I'll call you tomorrow." She said.

"Okay and thank you again, for everything." I said

"Don't...don't do that." She said and I smiled.

"Bye." I said and she nodded before I left. I walked up to the apartment. Maybe I should of told Evelyn about the black masked.

As I entered the apartment, I saw Kaitlyn pacing around worried before she saw me.

"Hey." I said.

"Oh my.. Ronnie! Where were you?! I was so worried." She said walking up to me and hugging me.

"I was..." She then cut me off.

"I'm sorry, really sorry. I shouldn't have told you those things. It was wasn't my place." She said.

"It was good you told me. If you hadn't told me, who else would of?" I asked her.

"I shouldn't have said all those things about your dad." She said and I looked away before looking back at her.

"No its fine." I said before the door was pushed open and Selena and Ava rushed in.

"Where is she..." Selena asked. I couldn't even look at Ava.

"I'm fine." I said looking at Kaitlyn.

"I was scared, I didn't know who to call." She said and I closed my eyes.

"Ronnie are you... what happened?" Selena asked.

"Nothing, it's sorted out." I said looking at Ava before quickly looking away.

"Okay. Well we ordered chinese for dinner." Selena said.

"Okay. Uhm... I need to talk to Kaitlyn." I said grabbing her hand and dragging her to our room.

"What's wrong?" She asked as I closed the door.

"Ava can't know mines or Selena's identity yet. There's something I must do and I need your help." I said and she looked at me confused.

After explaining everything, she looked at me even more confused.

"Are you insane?!" She asked.

"Come on. This could work only with your help." I said trying to convince her.

"Ronnie that's very... crazy." She said.

"Please." I said.

"Fine." She finally gave in. Someone then knocked before opening the door.

"Hey. The food has arrived." Ava said. Kaitlyn and I looked at each other before back at her.

"Thanks. We'll be there soon." Kaitlyn said and she smiled before walking back.

"Let's go." She said and I nodded.

The Next Day...

Today was Sunday, Kaitlyn and I made all the reservations last night and left a note to the others that we'll be going to the library.

We first decided to visit Ava's grandmother. Evelyn was gonna meet us here. I drove us to the given address.

"Ready?" Kaitlyn asked and I breath out nodding. We then got out and waited for Evelyn to get here. After a few minutes she arrived.
