The Return

Chapter 53

"So, what did you find?" I asked.

"Well, I went through some of her weird drawings, I took a couple pictures of a few things and then I think I found a few other clues... I don't really know." Ava said showing us the photos taken in her phone.

"Well she's... quite the artist." Kaitlyn said.

"Oh and I also found this." Ava said handing us a card.

"You took this?" Selena asked and Ava nodded.

"J'sC." Kaitlyn said, both Selena and I looked at each other.

"What's with you both? Does it sound familiar?" Ava asked.

"J'sC is the Johnson's Corporation. Our family latest business project." I said.

"What?" Both Kaitlyn and Ava said.

"How'd you know that?" They asked.

"Like I mentioned its part of the family business and also, because I saw it on the family's website." I said.

"So that meaning someone from your family went there?" Kaitlyn asked.

"Not exactly. It's a company's card. Anyone could've been there." Selena said.

"So how do we figure out who visited Ava's grandmother?" Kaitlyn asked.

"I think we should first make another visit to your mom. Check the recently visited, the sign in." Ava said looking Kailyn.

"Well we sorta still got a little time left, if we hurry we can make it there and try to get gather as much information as we can." Kaitlyn said.

"I guess you're right. Let's go." I said and we all agreed.

After arriving, we settle on a quick plan to go in and out without getting caught. Kaitlyn would distract the lady at the front desk and then I would make my move by inserting a flashdrive in the computer and Selena would use that to get into the system to shut the cameras down, which would give us at least five minutes before anyone can recognize something's wrong. Ava would then get the information in the sign in book records.

"Alright girls. Let's do this!" I said as walked in.

"Hello. I'm here to visit my mother?" Kaitlyn said.

"Uhmm... you called in earlier?" She asked.

"No. I- I thought... you know, I just thought I would meet her." She said pretending to feel emotional.

I then dropped my bracelet on purpose making it look like an accident.

"Oh sorry." I said with a nervous smile. I then stooped down and immediately insert the flashdrive in the box connecting to the computer, I looked over at Ava and nod who would then send a go text message to Selena.

The lady's dragon tattoo is really hot.

"I'm sorry. But you were supposed to call in earlier, set an appointment time?" The lady said as I got up.

"I'm sorry. I just suddenly miss my mother and I- I- I just want to see- her, please." She said starting to fake cry. I then put my arm around her in a side hug.

"Oh Katie. I'm so sorry. Can we have some water or something? She's a really emotional person and she's also suffering from PTSD and Depression, with everything happening with her mother... it's been really hard for her." I said.

"Uhm.. sure." She said. As she turned away to grab a bottle water in the back of her, Ava then quickly took a couple pictures with the last few pages.

"Hurry up!" I shout whispered. The lady then raise back up and caught Ava at the sign in book.
