Months passed and I'd finished packing my bags since it was about time that I hop into the vehicle to head over to Tony's house.

Anders leaned against the wall of his bedroom and I turned to face him after zipping my suitcase.

"You just had to leave a day early, huh?" he asked.
"I don't like it just as much as you do. That's one night I don't get to lay in bed next to you." I frowned.
"One night too many." he replied.
"What time does your flight come in tomorrow?" I asked him.
"11:30 supposedly."
"In the morning?"
"Yes."
"So then..." I walked to him and rested my arms over his shoulders. His hands found my waist. "When you arrive, we can visit the conference building and sightsee together?"
"We can." He gave me a soft peck on my lips.
"Do you promise?"
"I swear it. I'm pretty sure I'd have to go to a conference there for 1:30 anyway. Sounds like you're going with me."
I groaned.
"Hush, it's only an hour." He kissed my cheek.
"An hour of rich old people speaking to other rich old people about rich old people things." I whined.
"You have a point."
I rested my forehead on him since I knew I'd still go with him anyway.
"I'm sure it won't be that bad." he said as he rubbed my back.
"Yes, it will." I pouted.
He chuckled. "Yes, it will."

My phone vibrated and I looked at it in my hand from behind Anders' neck.

"The chauffeur is outside." I stated.
"I hate how timely Harrison is." he rolled his eyes.
"Yea, but I do technically have a plane to catch."
"Miss it. I'll buy you another ticket." He kissed the corner of my lips to my cheek then jaw then neck.
"But then it's suspicious, isn't it?"
He groaned this time and picked his head up.
I laughed at him.

"I'll see you tomorrow." he promised.
"I'll see you tomorrow." I held his face in my hands and kissed him softly before letting go and grabbing my bags.

"Give me that. I don't even know why you tried." he stated and took my luggage away from me before leaving the room.
I snickered and followed behind him.

I arrived at Tony's home and he was already waiting outside.
The chauffeur took my luggage and threw it into the next car.

"Do you always have your own chauffeur?" he asked me as we hugged.
"Yes sometimes."
"I see." He stated at the vehicle.
"What's wrong?" I asked and looked at it as well.
"Nothing. My son has that same car. I just thought it was a fun coincidence."
"Yes, I guess it is." I agreed.
"Are you ready?" he asked me.
"I am."

We both walked over to the car and got in.

The driver introduced himself to me and his name was Lucius.
"It's nice to meet you." I smiled.
"You as well." He smiled back and the car drove off.

"Did your flight get in today?" Tony asked me.
"It did."
"How was it?"
"It was okay. A bit of turbulence but fine."
"Were you with a client?" he wondered.
"You know I can't discuss that information with you, Tony." I said as I scrolled through my phone.
"Well, I feel like that just answers my question." he stated.
"No, I was not with a client. I was at home."
"I see."
"Is there anything else you'd like to ask?"
"Not at all."
"Wonderful."

My phone vibrated and I saw that it was a text from Anders.

"You packed for a week and not a dent was made in this closet." he said with a picture of the inside and it still looked full.
I snickered. "I actually packed for two weeks because sometimes I like to change." I texted back.
"That's worse." he replied quickly.
I laughed.
"I'm revoking your shopping privileges."
"Why?!"
"Because you have a problem!" he said with a laughing emoji.
I wouldn't argue because he had a point.
"Fine..."

It got quiet.
Then my phone vibrated again.

"Is it too soon to say I miss you?" he asked.
I tried hiding the smile the message gave me. "I don't think so."
"I miss you."
"I'd miss me too." I joked.
"You'll find your things on the driveway and on fire when you return." he texted.
"I was kidding! I miss you too."
"Yea, I bet you do."
I snickered.

After the long experience through the airport and the even longer flight, we finally made it to Washington D.C. and hopped in the car they sent for us.

It didn't take long to arrive at the hotel and it was massive.

It exudes expense.

I was very pleased with the booking.

Tony checked us in and we maneuvered to our room.

He opened the door for me and it was extremely large, my mouth fell open in surprise.

This felt like a room for royalty.
Everything was white and gold with granite countertops.

I left my luggage and went to explore the rest of the room.

I found the bedroom and the bed itself was king size, they had such tall dressers and a large closet with three full length mirrors inside.
The bathroom was the same size as the bedroom and the tub sat in its own section, square shaped, and granite. There were steps that led up to it. It had curtains on each side tied up but free to be taken down if you wanted the privacy. There was a vanity on the far wall.

I found Tony who brought our things into the bedroom.

"This is beautiful." I exclaimed.
"It is, isn't it? Would you like to visit the scenery around the city?"

I would say yes but I promised Anders we'd do it together.

"I'd love to but that was two plane rides and I'm incredibly tired." I lied.
"Understandable. You get off your feet and I'll just order room service. Is that alright?" he offered.
"Sounds perfect." I agreed.
"Great."
