It had been a month since Lorelai had made her choice, and she didn't regret it one bit. Her life now was the happiest she'd been her entire life. With one exception - She was yet to admit her feelings to Alma.
"Hey Pretty Bird" She said, stealing a glass that Alma had just taken out of the cupboard for herself.
"That was rude Lorelai" The bird remarked "And what have I said about calling me that"
Lorelai could just make out a blush on the birds cheeks, causing her to smirk slightly
"You didn't seem to mind it as I kissed you"
"I- Well-" She stammered, now bright red.
"Thanks for the glass" Lorelai said, filling it.
She turned and walked out the door, calling back as she did so
"See you at dinner pretty bird"
