POETRY TIME!
Sad.
There's not much to it at first glance,
Just a word,
To describe a human emotion,
I'm not happy,
I'm not mad,
I'm just sad,
Yet such a little word can mean so much,
'Yeah, I'm sad'
Never taken seriously,
'Yeah, I'm depressed'.
Taken seriously,
The words falling from it,
Like broken tree branches,
Sad.
It's never properly thought about,
When someone says sad,
It's not a big enough word,
Not powerful enough,
Not strong enough,
Yet it doesn't need to be,
Just think,
Just ask,
What type of sad?
Because there are many different forms,
Some serious,
Some not,
But every single form needs to be spoken,
No matter who,
I'm just...
Sad.
